As a Clinic Manager at Fresenius Medical Care, you’ll manage the daily operations of our outpatient centers. More importantly, you’ll be the key driver in carrying out our mission: To deliver superior care that improves the quality of life of every patient, every day, setting the standard by which others in the health care industry are judged. This is accomplished by hiring, developing and inspiring a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with physicians, tracking and delivering superior patient outcomes and monitoring regulatory and safety requirements. Strong management skills are required and prior direct patient care experience is needed for occasions when the team needs a helping hand.

Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) at Fresenius Medical Care support and collaborate with RNs to provide dialysis treatment to several patients at a time while maintaining the functionality of the clinic. This involves prepping and testing equipment, reviewing treatment sheets, and opening the clinic at 4am for first shift. PCTs have a combination of technical skills and genuine passion needed to develop deep relationships with patients and improve their quality of life. Qualified candidates have prior customer service, healthcare and direct patient care experience, and will have the opportunity to learn the discipline of dialysis.

Fresenius Medical Care nurses are on the front line of patient care, improving the quality of life of every patient, every day. That means providing dialysis care to 10-12 patients at any given time, and collaborating with our multi-disciplinary team to deliver a unique care plan to each one of them. This role is all about relationships and the bond you’ll create with patients and their families. Prior dialysis nursing experience is helpful, but many successful candidates come from a background in ICU, PCU and/or surgery.

Inpatient RNs at Fresenius Medical Care perform dialysis treatments on an acute patient population in a hospital setting, including ICU, ER, Rehab, and Med/Surg units. What makes this role truly unique is the level of autonomy you’ll enjoy. Inpatient nurses are specifically accountable for administering and assessing each patient’s treatment plan. And because dialysis is a critical treatment for many hospital procedures and health conditions, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients. Ideal candidates possess leadership skills and independence needed to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment. Must be capable of educating patients and providing exceptional customer service to our partners. Six months to one year of dialysis experience or some form of critical care nursing experience are also required.

Job Description

Aim of the role:

Responsible for the (digital) process areas within GTO, which are supported by ERP and FSM systems.

The function ensures that the business processes in the GTO area are consistently mapped in the ERP and FSM systems and thus lays the foundation for expanding the provision and business models in the area of digital services in the future.

Collaboration in the development and implementation of new business models.

Strategic and operational development of the GTO processes with a focus on a global standard that ensures that business processes provide reliable data for monitoring and clear information regarding further optimization and business development potential.

Promoting cooperation with local service organizations to improve service quality and customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibility:

Regularly performed tasks that significantly determine the function:

  • Lead the development and implementation of projects within Global Technical Operations function, anticipating complex issues, challenges and opportunities and ensuring integration with the wider GTO strategy
  • Responsible for processes that are mapped in ERP and FSM and the associated business models, taking into account customer and user requirements as well as other stakeholders
  • Development of strategy and roadmap for a portfolio to support current and future business opportunities
  • Driving and sustaining organizational change and operational excellence by empowering local service teams to integrate new technologies
  • Responsible for the continuous development and optimization of service and field processes
  • Development of methods for continuous improvement and best practice sharing between the local service organizations
  • Definition of global standards and harmonization of processes in the GTO area
  • Evaluation of the impact of new technologies on service and field processes, responsible for the design of optimized processes when introducing new technologies
  • Assess the skills of staff involved in service innovation team to identify gaps and prioritize development activities. Implementing the organization's formal development frameworks within the area of responsibility. Coaching and mentoring other staff to support the development of the organization's capabilities
  • Planning of future and optimization of current infrastructure and system resources for the provision of process-relevant systems and tools in close cooperation with internal and external service providers

Required Qualifications:

  • University degree (Uni/FH) in computer science, natural sciences, engineering or economics. Preferably in the field of business informatics and with an international focus
  • Alternatively, successfully completed vocational training with several years of professional experience in the relevant field
  • Professional experience in ERP implementation and usage in a global technical service department
  • Professional experience in IT project management or in a comparable function: ≥ 4 years
  • more than 2 years of leadership experience in planning and managing resources to achieve specified goals
  • more than 4 years of experience in providing expertise and acting in an international environment and at least 2 years of experience in medical technology

  • Excellent knowledge of dialysis and other medical and pharmaceutical products and services of both FME and competitors is an advantage
  • Understanding and using modern communication software and systems
  • Good IT user skills (MS Office, SAP, Intranet etc.)
  • Understanding the basics of e-health, data security and related topics
  • Good knowledge of SAP S4 HANA
  • Knowledge of SAP FSM (Field Service Management) and SAP WFM (Workforce Management) an advantage
  • Up-to-date knowledge about IT and digitalization
  • National language and fluent English are a must (presenting, writing, reading)
  • Languages other than the national language are an advantage
  • Work in an international company with international standards
  • Travel within the region and internationally across different time zones
