As a Clinic Manager at Fresenius Medical Care, you’ll manage the daily operations of our outpatient centers. More importantly, you’ll be the key driver in carrying out our mission: To deliver superior care that improves the quality of life of every patient, every day, setting the standard by which others in the health care industry are judged. This is accomplished by hiring, developing and inspiring a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with physicians, tracking and delivering superior patient outcomes and monitoring regulatory and safety requirements. Strong management skills are required and prior direct patient care experience is needed for occasions when the team needs a helping hand.

Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) at Fresenius Medical Care support and collaborate with RNs to provide dialysis treatment to several patients at a time while maintaining the functionality of the clinic. This involves prepping and testing equipment, reviewing treatment sheets, and opening the clinic at 4am for first shift. PCTs have a combination of technical skills and genuine passion needed to develop deep relationships with patients and improve their quality of life. Qualified candidates have prior customer service, healthcare and direct patient care experience, and will have the opportunity to learn the discipline of dialysis.

Fresenius Medical Care nurses are on the front line of patient care, improving the quality of life of every patient, every day. That means providing dialysis care to 10-12 patients at any given time, and collaborating with our multi-disciplinary team to deliver a unique care plan to each one of them. This role is all about relationships and the bond you’ll create with patients and their families. Prior dialysis nursing experience is helpful, but many successful candidates come from a background in ICU, PCU and/or surgery.

Inpatient RNs at Fresenius Medical Care perform dialysis treatments on an acute patient population in a hospital setting, including ICU, ER, Rehab, and Med/Surg units. What makes this role truly unique is the level of autonomy you’ll enjoy. Inpatient nurses are specifically accountable for administering and assessing each patient’s treatment plan. And because dialysis is a critical treatment for many hospital procedures and health conditions, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients. Ideal candidates possess leadership skills and independence needed to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment. Must be capable of educating patients and providing exceptional customer service to our partners. Six months to one year of dialysis experience or some form of critical care nursing experience are also required.

Job Description

Training Delivery & Facilitation:

  • Conduct onboarding and ongoing training sessions for nursing staff, technicians, and clinical teams on dialysis processes, patient care, and emergency protocols.
  • Ensure the implementation of standardized clinical practices across all clinics.
  • Conduct structured training programs for nurses, technicians, and other point-of-care (POC) staff to meet clinical and organizational KPIs.
  • Provide hands-on guidance to clinical staff to improve patient outcomes and reduce adverse events.
  • Mentor POC staff on achieving key performance metrics, such as infection control, vascular access management, and dialysis adequacy.

Compliance Monitoring:

  • Ensure all clinical staff are trained and certified in accordance with NABH, ISO, and other regulatory guidelines.
  • Conduct periodic skill assessments and refresher training to maintain compliance.
  • Identify and ensure to close any safety related NCs on time by coordinating with concern department/persons.  

Clinical Outcomes Improvement:

  • Collaborate with clinical managers to identify gaps in patient care and implement targeted training interventions.
  • Monitor and analyze clinical outcomes such as Kt/V levels, hospitalization rates, and infection rates to ensure continuous improvement.

Quality Assurance Support:

  • Work closely with quality assurance teams to identify gaps in clinical practice and provide training solutions to address them.
  • Analyze incident reports and audits to recommend and deliver targeted training.

Performance Evaluation & Feedback:

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and clinical outcome metrics.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Patient Satisfaction

  • Liaise with clinic managers, nephrologists, and corporate teams to align training needs with organizational goals.
  • Support clinic managers in improving patient satisfaction scores by addressing patient concerns through well-trained staff and proactive care measures.
  • Contribute to business growth by enhancing patient retention and attracting new patients through consistent delivery of quality care.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed records of training activities, attendance, certifications, evaluation reports and outcomes.
  • Prepare and submit periodic reports to manager on training progress, clinical outcomes and compliance metrics.

Incident Reporting and Risk Management:

  • Promote a culture of transparency and accountability by improving the frequency and accuracy of on time incident reporting from the ground level.

  • Conduct root cause analysis of incidents and develop training strategies to prevent recurrence.

Mock Drills and Emergency Preparedness:

  • Plan and execute mock drills (e.g., fire safety, cardiac arrest response) at regular intervals to ensure staff readiness for emergencies.
  • Coordinate with hospital team regarding fire safety mock drills.
  • Ensure documentation and feedback from drills are used to enhance preparedness.

Patient Education and Engagement:

  • Execute patient education programs focusing on dialysis care, dietary management, and infection prevention.
  • Educate employees and patients on Therapy Upgradation through patient education sessions and one on one discussions with patients in the dialysis unit.
