As a Clinic Manager at Fresenius Medical Care, you’ll manage the daily operations of our outpatient centers. More importantly, you’ll be the key driver in carrying out our mission: To deliver superior care that improves the quality of life of every patient, every day, setting the standard by which others in the health care industry are judged. This is accomplished by hiring, developing and inspiring a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with physicians, tracking and delivering superior patient outcomes and monitoring regulatory and safety requirements. Strong management skills are required and prior direct patient care experience is needed for occasions when the team needs a helping hand.

Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) at Fresenius Medical Care support and collaborate with RNs to provide dialysis treatment to several patients at a time while maintaining the functionality of the clinic. This involves prepping and testing equipment, reviewing treatment sheets, and opening the clinic at 4am for first shift. PCTs have a combination of technical skills and genuine passion needed to develop deep relationships with patients and improve their quality of life. Qualified candidates have prior customer service, healthcare and direct patient care experience, and will have the opportunity to learn the discipline of dialysis.

Fresenius Medical Care nurses are on the front line of patient care, improving the quality of life of every patient, every day. That means providing dialysis care to 10-12 patients at any given time, and collaborating with our multi-disciplinary team to deliver a unique care plan to each one of them. This role is all about relationships and the bond you’ll create with patients and their families. Prior dialysis nursing experience is helpful, but many successful candidates come from a background in ICU, PCU and/or surgery.

Inpatient RNs at Fresenius Medical Care perform dialysis treatments on an acute patient population in a hospital setting, including ICU, ER, Rehab, and Med/Surg units. What makes this role truly unique is the level of autonomy you’ll enjoy. Inpatient nurses are specifically accountable for administering and assessing each patient’s treatment plan. And because dialysis is a critical treatment for many hospital procedures and health conditions, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients. Ideal candidates possess leadership skills and independence needed to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment. Must be capable of educating patients and providing exceptional customer service to our partners. Six months to one year of dialysis experience or some form of critical care nursing experience are also required.

Summary of job scope:

The Senior Director, Global Finance ITS Business Partner serves as the strategic technology advisor and digital transformation leader for the Global Finance organization at Fresenius Medical Care (FME). This role is responsible for shaping, enabling, and delivering the full digital agenda for Global Finance—spanning strategy, innovation, intelligent automation, AI/GenAI, analytics, Finance platforms, Finance process modernization, and product-centric delivery.

The candidate will co-own the digital Finance roadmap, partner with Finance leadership and stakeholders to conceptualize future-state capabilities, and oversee delivery of world-class digital products and solutions that transform how FME Finance:

Consolidates, closes, and reports external financial results Performs financial planning & analysis across horizons Manages global cash, investments, and Treasury Executes statutory tax, legal entity, and regulatory reporting Ensures compliance, audit readiness, and financial controls Delivers scalable, efficient, and automated finance shared services

In this capacity, the Senior Director will lead a portfolio of digital products and transformation initiatives, ensuring they deliver measurable business value, operational excellence, automation, insights, and scalability. The candidate will play a central role in driving the adoption of advanced analytics, AI/GenAI, automation-first design, and modern user-centric platforms that enhance accuracy, speed, and decision-making across Finance.

This leader will be a member of the FME ITS Enterprise Business Partner Leadership Team, working in close collaboration with the CFO organization, other Global Functions, and delivery teams across the full ITS landscape.

Primary responsibilities include:

Digital Finance Strategy & Thought Leadership

  • Shape and co-own the 3–5 year Finance digital strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with Global Finance priorities, S/4 evolution, ESG reporting needs, and enterprise digital strategy.
  • Advise Finance LT on emerging technologies, digital operating models, AI opportunities, and transformation pathways.
  • Serve as the trusted advisor to the CFO and senior Finance leaders on technology-enabled transformation.

Product Ownership & Portfolio Management

  • Act as Product Owner for the Global Finance Digital Product Portfolio (R2R, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, GBS Finance, Controls, Reporting & Analytics).
  • Define product vision, prioritization, value cases, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Ensure continuous improvement through agile, iterative enhancements—not only project-based delivery.
  • Lead prioritization through structured value frameworks, OKRs, and demand management.

Business Value, Performance & Cost Transparency

  • Establish and operate a comprehensive value management framework covering ROI, TCO, cost-to-serve, productivity gains, accuracy, cycle time, and risk reduction.
  • Build and maintain Finance IT economics dashboards, unit cost visibility, benchmarking, and business case methodologies.
  • Ensure every major investment or transformation initiative has measurable and tracked value outcomes.

AI, Automation & Advanced Analytics Leadership

  • Drive adoption and scale of AI/GenAI in Finance processes (forecasting, narrative analytics, reconciliations, reporting, anomaly detection, audit preparation, tax insights).
  • Partner with automation COEs to deliver automation-first solutions across Finance shared services and Finance operations.
  • Own the strategy for Finance data, analytics, semantic models, dashboards, and predictive insights in collaboration with the Enterprise Data organization.
  • Enable Finance self-service reporting and decision-support tools.

Digital Platform Modernization & Architecture

  • Lead modernization of Finance digital platforms including S/4 Finance, FP&A systems, BPC/SAC, Treasury Management, Tax Technology, Workflow, and Data Intelligence platforms.
  • Drive rationalization, standardization, and interoperability across platforms.
  • Ensure architecture, cybersecurity, controls, and scalability align with enterprise standards.

Stakeholder Leadership & Change Management

  • Serve as the primary escalation and engagement point for Global Finance stakeholders into ITS.
  • Lead cross-functional alignment between Business, GBS, Controlling, Tax, Treasury, Procurement, Legal, Audit, and other Global Functions.
  • Drive change management, communication, and adoption for all Finance digital initiatives.
  • Champion Finance’s transition to digital-first processes and insights-led culture.

People Leadership

  • Lead and develop an organization of ~10 internal colleagues and external consultants.
  • Build high-performing, diverse teams with strengths in product management, analytics, architecture, automation, and Finance IT.
  • Coach teams to adopt modern ways of working, including agile, value-based delivery, and product-centric design.

The role will report to the Vice President, Enterprise Solutions ITS, and will partner, plan and deliver the digital agenda for Global Finance.

Education:  

  • BA/BS required; B.S. Degree in Computer Information Sciences, Business Management, MBA preferred or related field

Required:

  • 10+ years of relevant ITS, digital transformation, Finance IT, Finance systems, or business partnering experience in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, or global enterprise environment.
  • 5+ years leading teams in Finance, FP&A, Accounting, Treasury, or ITS organizations.
  • Demonstrated success in digital strategy development, platform modernization, portfolio management, and large-scale transformation delivery.
  • Direct experience with strategy development, planning, large-scale program management, and change management skills are essential
  • Track record of delivering solutions globally, across multiple regions and regulatory environments.
  • Experience influencing senior executives including VPs and SVPs across Finance and IT.
  • Demonstrated leadership in matrix organizations with cross-functional initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, influencing and relationship skills along with high personal integrity, credibility, and energy
  • Results-orientation with the proven ability to develop plans and implement them

Preferred Skills:

  • 10+ years of Finance, Accounting, or Finance IT experience.
  • Expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance, FP&A platforms (BPC, SAC, Anaplan), Treasury Management, Tax Technology.
  • Hands-on experience across the S/4 lifecycle, including design, implementation, and stabilization.
  • Strong understanding of Finance data models, analytics platforms, predictive models, and self-service BI.
  • Experience with AI/GenAI use cases for Finance, automation CoEs, or intelligent workflows.
  • Practical knowledge of agile methodologies, product management, and value stream management.
