As a Clinic Manager at Fresenius Medical Care, you’ll manage the daily operations of our outpatient centers. More importantly, you’ll be the key driver in carrying out our mission: To deliver superior care that improves the quality of life of every patient, every day, setting the standard by which others in the health care industry are judged. This is accomplished by hiring, developing and inspiring a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with physicians, tracking and delivering superior patient outcomes and monitoring regulatory and safety requirements. Strong management skills are required and prior direct patient care experience is needed for occasions when the team needs a helping hand.
Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) at Fresenius Medical Care support and collaborate with RNs to provide dialysis treatment to several patients at a time while maintaining the functionality of the clinic. This involves prepping and testing equipment, reviewing treatment sheets, and opening the clinic at 4am for first shift. PCTs have a combination of technical skills and genuine passion needed to develop deep relationships with patients and improve their quality of life. Qualified candidates have prior customer service, healthcare and direct patient care experience, and will have the opportunity to learn the discipline of dialysis.
Fresenius Medical Care nurses are on the front line of patient care, improving the quality of life of every patient, every day. That means providing dialysis care to 10-12 patients at any given time, and collaborating with our multi-disciplinary team to deliver a unique care plan to each one of them. This role is all about relationships and the bond you’ll create with patients and their families. Prior dialysis nursing experience is helpful, but many successful candidates come from a background in ICU, PCU and/or surgery.
Inpatient RNs at Fresenius Medical Care perform dialysis treatments on an acute patient population in a hospital setting, including ICU, ER, Rehab, and Med/Surg units. What makes this role truly unique is the level of autonomy you’ll enjoy. Inpatient nurses are specifically accountable for administering and assessing each patient’s treatment plan. And because dialysis is a critical treatment for many hospital procedures and health conditions, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients. Ideal candidates possess leadership skills and independence needed to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment. Must be capable of educating patients and providing exceptional customer service to our partners. Six months to one year of dialysis experience or some form of critical care nursing experience are also required.

In this context, he/she is responsible in particular for:
Defining and managing a global framework for executive compensation, including Board of Directors compensation and long-term incentives
Ownership of Total Rewards on matters interacting with and related to FME Management Board and Supervisory Board, as applicable
Ownership of the design and structure of our global Long-Term Incentive program(s)
Representative of Total Rewards on all related matters with our Works Councils in Germany
Total Rewards leader of all Germany-based Total Reward roles, with dotted line reporting of all TR Germany roles into this role
Ensures the alignment and execution of all Total Rewards work across Germany
Leadership and management
Identify and communicate the actions required to implement our Total Reward strategy and the role of our executive incentives within that work; explain the link to the organization's mission, vision, and values; motivate employees to work towards these goals and perform exceptionally to achieve local business objectives.
Similar to the above for Executive Compensation matters, this role would also be responsible for implementing our Total Reward strategy with our Germany-based Total Rewards team and local leadership, helping ensure the our Germany Total Rewards team is aligned to our mission, working effectively together, and we are appropriately supporting the needs of our Germany-based leaders and Works Councils.
Design of compensation programs for (top) executives
In partnership with the SVP of Total Rewards, develop and manage the annual and long-term remuneration programs for executives, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.
Design of incentive programs
Develop a framework for incentivizing executives at FME worldwide; identify and address the needs of internal stakeholders; define the employee groups eligible for incentives and the parameters for incentivization; ensure compliance with external regulatory and legal requirements.
Design of Global Long-Term Incentives
Responsible for the design and implementation of all global long-term incentive programs, ensuring these programs are designed to drive the appropriate long-term value and meet the needs of our business and best practice within the market. This role would be accountable for directly working with our Sr. Director of TR Operations to ensure the effective management and execution of the annual grant process, with a focus on establishing global consistency and improving the quality and user experience.
Review of remuneration and benefits
Design and management of relevant regular processes in partnership with Total Reward operations (e.g. LTI grant process); definition and communication of review objectives, process, timetable, criteria and financial parameters; monitoring and reporting of results, initiation of remedial action where necessary.
Leadership of Germany-Based Total Rewards Team
Responsible for being the primary leader and guide to the Germany-based Total Rewards team, acting as the representative of the SVP of Total Rewards in our HQ and critical German markets. This would include accountability for liaising with the appropriate stakeholders for any Germany Works Council initiatives, supporting the needs of the SVP of Total Rewards and CHRO, and providing day-to-day leadership of all local, German TR roles to ensure alignment with our mission and provide direct and clear consistency.
Information and advice
Providing key technical advice to managers to enable the implementation of strategies, projects, and change initiatives.
Budgets
Taking responsibility for setting and managing salary and remuneration budgets to ensure they are in line with the company strategy.
Project management
Appropriately manage related projects in line with Total Rewards' overall project management strategy, and in partnership with TR operations and Process and Programs.
Quality, law and compliance
Adherence to and compliance with all relevant FME guidelines, policies, manuals and SOPs as amended from time to time ("FME Guidelines")
Keep up to date with the latest version of FME policies relevant to your role and integrate the company values into your daily business
Ensure and monitor that the policies and services of the function are compliant with the Compliance Framework
