As a Clinic Manager at Fresenius Medical Care, you’ll manage the daily operations of our outpatient centers. More importantly, you’ll be the key driver in carrying out our mission: To deliver superior care that improves the quality of life of every patient, every day, setting the standard by which others in the health care industry are judged. This is accomplished by hiring, developing and inspiring a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with physicians, tracking and delivering superior patient outcomes and monitoring regulatory and safety requirements. Strong management skills are required and prior direct patient care experience is needed for occasions when the team needs a helping hand.

Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) at Fresenius Medical Care support and collaborate with RNs to provide dialysis treatment to several patients at a time while maintaining the functionality of the clinic. This involves prepping and testing equipment, reviewing treatment sheets, and opening the clinic at 4am for first shift. PCTs have a combination of technical skills and genuine passion needed to develop deep relationships with patients and improve their quality of life. Qualified candidates have prior customer service, healthcare and direct patient care experience, and will have the opportunity to learn the discipline of dialysis.

Fresenius Medical Care nurses are on the front line of patient care, improving the quality of life of every patient, every day. That means providing dialysis care to 10-12 patients at any given time, and collaborating with our multi-disciplinary team to deliver a unique care plan to each one of them. This role is all about relationships and the bond you’ll create with patients and their families. Prior dialysis nursing experience is helpful, but many successful candidates come from a background in ICU, PCU and/or surgery.

Inpatient RNs at Fresenius Medical Care perform dialysis treatments on an acute patient population in a hospital setting, including ICU, ER, Rehab, and Med/Surg units. What makes this role truly unique is the level of autonomy you’ll enjoy. Inpatient nurses are specifically accountable for administering and assessing each patient’s treatment plan. And because dialysis is a critical treatment for many hospital procedures and health conditions, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients. Ideal candidates possess leadership skills and independence needed to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment. Must be capable of educating patients and providing exceptional customer service to our partners. Six months to one year of dialysis experience or some form of critical care nursing experience are also required.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides Quality Assurance frameworks, tools, and support for functional, integration, and regression testing across ITS. This includes ensuring robust testing processes and methodologies are in place to maintain high standards of software quality and reliability.
  • Delivers enterprise IT service, program, and project management capabilities through centralized platforms. This involves overseeing the implementation and management of centralized systems that facilitate efficient and effective IT service delivery, program execution, and project management.
  • Enables reusable, intelligent interoperability using standard tools and data integration patterns. This responsibility focuses on creating and maintaining interoperable systems that leverage standard tools and data integration patterns to ensure seamless data flow and communication across various applications and services.
  • Streamlines operations and reduce manual effort through intelligent process automation. This includes identifying opportunities for automation, implementing intelligent automation solutions, and continuously improving processes to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual workloads.
  • Establishes strategic interdepartmental cooperation and protocols, ensuring continual improvement of processes across the ITS organization to deliver high-quality application solutions.
  • Provides strategic leadership of overall objectives through the application of thoughtful techniques in the communication of the company’s mission and core values as a means to effect positive change and/or create organizational structure within the assigned business unit(s)
  • Leads operational efforts through subordinates to complete the administration of business processes and services to ensure the operations effective achievement of goals within the assigned business unit(s).
  • Directs and oversee the broad activities of the business unit(s) through the interpretation, application and implementation of company-wide policies and procedures relevant to the assigned functional area(s).
  • Ensures that budgets and schedules are within company requirements with significant organizational responsibility for the overall control of planning, staffing, budgeting, expense priority management, and the recommendation and implementation of current practices.
  • Provides leadership, guidance and coaching to all direct reports to maintain an engaged and productive workforce; partnering with Human Resources on employee relations issues.
  • Collaborates with employees in the establishment of clear and concise development plans to ensure succession planning and the advancement of future leaders within the organization.
  • Strategic leader with broad-based knowledge of the business and/or industry with an emphasis on providing strategic solutions to a specific business line and/or division. Has broad decision-making authority within the functional areas.
  • Interacts with all levels of the organization to manage the business. Regularly interacts with executives and/or major customers. Has strong interaction with SVPs, Presidents and possibly with the CEO.
  • Provides technical guidance.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISION:

  • Responsible for the direct supervision of various levels of Information Technology Solutions staff.

EDUCATION AND REQUIRED CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree; Advanced Degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:  

  • 10+ years’ related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience as a Director; or 5+ years’ experience in a senior managerial role.
  • Extensive experience in software quality assurance, including the development and implementation of comprehensive testing strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of GxP related processes, with a proven track record in documentation and testing to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Expertise in testing automation and the use of artificial intelligence for optimization, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes.
  • Demonstrates deep knowledge and extensive experience in the system development life cycle (SDLC), including planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of applications.
  • Strong management skills with the ability to lead cohesive and productive teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of management through diplomacy and tact.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
