As a Clinic Manager at Fresenius Medical Care, you’ll manage the daily operations of our outpatient centers. More importantly, you’ll be the key driver in carrying out our mission: To deliver superior care that improves the quality of life of every patient, every day, setting the standard by which others in the health care industry are judged. This is accomplished by hiring, developing and inspiring a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with physicians, tracking and delivering superior patient outcomes and monitoring regulatory and safety requirements. Strong management skills are required and prior direct patient care experience is needed for occasions when the team needs a helping hand.

Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) at Fresenius Medical Care support and collaborate with RNs to provide dialysis treatment to several patients at a time while maintaining the functionality of the clinic. This involves prepping and testing equipment, reviewing treatment sheets, and opening the clinic at 4am for first shift. PCTs have a combination of technical skills and genuine passion needed to develop deep relationships with patients and improve their quality of life. Qualified candidates have prior customer service, healthcare and direct patient care experience, and will have the opportunity to learn the discipline of dialysis.

Fresenius Medical Care nurses are on the front line of patient care, improving the quality of life of every patient, every day. That means providing dialysis care to 10-12 patients at any given time, and collaborating with our multi-disciplinary team to deliver a unique care plan to each one of them. This role is all about relationships and the bond you’ll create with patients and their families. Prior dialysis nursing experience is helpful, but many successful candidates come from a background in ICU, PCU and/or surgery.

Inpatient RNs at Fresenius Medical Care perform dialysis treatments on an acute patient population in a hospital setting, including ICU, ER, Rehab, and Med/Surg units. What makes this role truly unique is the level of autonomy you’ll enjoy. Inpatient nurses are specifically accountable for administering and assessing each patient’s treatment plan. And because dialysis is a critical treatment for many hospital procedures and health conditions, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients. Ideal candidates possess leadership skills and independence needed to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment. Must be capable of educating patients and providing exceptional customer service to our partners. Six months to one year of dialysis experience or some form of critical care nursing experience are also required.

Job Description

In your role as Program Manager In-Center Digital Ecosystem (m/f/d) you will be responsible to shape the future In-Center Digital Ecosystem program, especially business side, and to integrate existing and future (digital) products into a wholistic In-Center Ecosystem approach by leading a novel cross-functional program with various products and projects in multiple value streams. The role has two sides: a) the business side and b) the program management side.

Your tasks

  • Setup and lead overall program to include all related products in one aligned ecosystem roadmap
  • Close collaboration with every individual product team in every phase (covering market needs analysis, discovery & product conception, development, and go-to-market / commercialization)
  • Drive the business side of the program together with program leadership and product leads which includes ecosystem offering structure, product strategy on ecosystem level, market research, business case, pricing strategies, marketing strategies and campaigns (esp. push digital/connectivity campaign as strategic lever until 2030), etc; put hand on where required, otherwise oversee its execution
  • Elaborate go-to-market and commercialization strategies and plans for key target launch markets in close collaboration with local sales/marketing teams and oversee its execution  
  • Identify, manage, and control interfaces and specifications between products in the future In-Center Ecosystem 2.0 as well bridges into current existing portfolio where needed
  • Align roadmaps, milestones and release time plans of individual products and their development iterations in ARTs in order to synchronize and optimize the overall program cadence on ecosystem level
  • Ensure an appropriate program governance and team structure
  • Establish efficient/lean state of the art program & project management practices that aim for transparent reporting, speed and progress tracking of scope, time, quality / maturity and budget
  • Identify and manage program risks efficiently
  • Align ecosystem marketing strategy
  • Manage the program’s stakeholders; proactively communicates relevant information within the entire FME organization
  • Close collaboration with Portfolio Management, i.e., for reporting or governance related topics

Your profile

  • Successfully completed bachelor’s or master’s degree
  • Minimum 10+ years of professional business experience
  • Proven knowledge, experience, and track record of 8+ years in shaping and executing product/ business strategies (go-to-market/launch planning, commercialization, marketing, sales, pricing) for digital products and physical products in modern ecosystem play; it’s considered a plus when this experience has been with at least one of following countries: China, India, Brazil, Mexico, Saudi-Arabia
  • Excellent knowledge in program and project management including budgeting, risk management, and resource planning with at least 5 years of relevant program management experience
  • Sound understanding of product development processes and design controls in MedTech or other regulated industries
  • Knowledge of dialysis, related products, and clinic workflows
  • Assertive and experienced leader in matrix organization for both direct and indirect people management
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills
  • Global mindset and willingness for occasional business trips
  • Fluent in English, in written and spoken, knowledge of German would be a plus
