As a Clinic Manager at Fresenius Medical Care, you’ll manage the daily operations of our outpatient centers. More importantly, you’ll be the key driver in carrying out our mission: To deliver superior care that improves the quality of life of every patient, every day, setting the standard by which others in the health care industry are judged. This is accomplished by hiring, developing and inspiring a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with physicians, tracking and delivering superior patient outcomes and monitoring regulatory and safety requirements. Strong management skills are required and prior direct patient care experience is needed for occasions when the team needs a helping hand.

Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) at Fresenius Medical Care support and collaborate with RNs to provide dialysis treatment to several patients at a time while maintaining the functionality of the clinic. This involves prepping and testing equipment, reviewing treatment sheets, and opening the clinic at 4am for first shift. PCTs have a combination of technical skills and genuine passion needed to develop deep relationships with patients and improve their quality of life. Qualified candidates have prior customer service, healthcare and direct patient care experience, and will have the opportunity to learn the discipline of dialysis.

Fresenius Medical Care nurses are on the front line of patient care, improving the quality of life of every patient, every day. That means providing dialysis care to 10-12 patients at any given time, and collaborating with our multi-disciplinary team to deliver a unique care plan to each one of them. This role is all about relationships and the bond you’ll create with patients and their families. Prior dialysis nursing experience is helpful, but many successful candidates come from a background in ICU, PCU and/or surgery.

Inpatient RNs at Fresenius Medical Care perform dialysis treatments on an acute patient population in a hospital setting, including ICU, ER, Rehab, and Med/Surg units. What makes this role truly unique is the level of autonomy you’ll enjoy. Inpatient nurses are specifically accountable for administering and assessing each patient’s treatment plan. And because dialysis is a critical treatment for many hospital procedures and health conditions, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients. Ideal candidates possess leadership skills and independence needed to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment. Must be capable of educating patients and providing exceptional customer service to our partners. Six months to one year of dialysis experience or some form of critical care nursing experience are also required.

Principal Systems Developer, National Medical Care, Inc., a Fresenius Medical Care N.A. company, Lexington, Massachusetts

Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining software and Web applications used in Fresenius business operations. Specific duties include:

  • Working with Client and Business Analysts to analyze the systems requirements.
  • Designing multiple complex web and mobile software applications using Object Oriented Programming Principles and Design Patterns like Singleton, Façade, Factory, Adaptor, Observer, Repository with strong hands on experience in .Net Framework 4.0/4.5, C# 4.0/5.0/6.0/7.0, VB.Net 10.0/11.0/14.0, AJAX, jQuery and Web Services.
  • Preparing the complete Software Design Specifications documents for all the applications.
  • Building WCF RESTful services for data retrieval for an Android mobile application which works both in online and offline modes.
  • Building health care specific HL7/Fhir (Health Level 7/ Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) web services for patient hepatitis data retrieval.
  • Building the complete business logic using C#, VB.Net, LINQ (Language Integrated Query), Entity Framework, JSON, WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) Services and GUI (Graphical User Interface) with HTML5/CSS3, Telerik Controls, Asp.Net/jQuery, Bootstrap and Responsive web design with media queries for efficient and interactive web applications that work seamlessly across all popular browsers and mobile or tablet devices.
  • Working in Agile software development model for quicker fixes and enhancements in live website.
  • Working on SVN source control to keep track of daily code changes and reporting and monitoring the issues and fixes.
  • Designing and developing SQL Server 2008 R2 Databases with strong knowledge in Tables, Indexes, Stored procedures, Views, Functions and Triggers to handle complex business rules and vast history data.
  • Working on application performance enhancement in GUI and in database by performance tuning tools and techniques.
  • Working extensively on multiple SQL Server Integration Services packages for data transformations using flat files and copying to or retrieving the data files from FTP/SFTP locations using WINSCP.
  • Deploying and maintaining applications on IIS (Internet Information Services).

Requirements:

Position requires either (i) a Master’s Degree (or a foreign equivalent) in Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a closely related field, and four (4) years of experience analyzing and defining technical requirements for software design projects or (ii) a Bachelor’s degree (or a foreign equivalent) in Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a closely related field, and six (6) years of experience analyzing and defining technical requirements for software design projects. This experience, which may have been gained concurrently with the primary experience requirement above, must include at least four (4) years with: C# and VB.Net, IIS, WCF and REST Services, HL7/Fhir Services, SQL Server and SSIS, HTML5/CSS3, Java Script and jQuery, confluence and Tortoise SVN source control.

This is a telecommuting position working from home.  May reside anywhere in the United States.
