As a Clinic Manager at Fresenius Medical Care, you’ll manage the daily operations of our outpatient centers. More importantly, you’ll be the key driver in carrying out our mission: To deliver superior care that improves the quality of life of every patient, every day, setting the standard by which others in the health care industry are judged. This is accomplished by hiring, developing and inspiring a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with physicians, tracking and delivering superior patient outcomes and monitoring regulatory and safety requirements. Strong management skills are required and prior direct patient care experience is needed for occasions when the team needs a helping hand.

Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) at Fresenius Medical Care support and collaborate with RNs to provide dialysis treatment to several patients at a time while maintaining the functionality of the clinic. This involves prepping and testing equipment, reviewing treatment sheets, and opening the clinic at 4am for first shift. PCTs have a combination of technical skills and genuine passion needed to develop deep relationships with patients and improve their quality of life. Qualified candidates have prior customer service, healthcare and direct patient care experience, and will have the opportunity to learn the discipline of dialysis.

Fresenius Medical Care nurses are on the front line of patient care, improving the quality of life of every patient, every day. That means providing dialysis care to 10-12 patients at any given time, and collaborating with our multi-disciplinary team to deliver a unique care plan to each one of them. This role is all about relationships and the bond you’ll create with patients and their families. Prior dialysis nursing experience is helpful, but many successful candidates come from a background in ICU, PCU and/or surgery.

Inpatient RNs at Fresenius Medical Care perform dialysis treatments on an acute patient population in a hospital setting, including ICU, ER, Rehab, and Med/Surg units. What makes this role truly unique is the level of autonomy you’ll enjoy. Inpatient nurses are specifically accountable for administering and assessing each patient’s treatment plan. And because dialysis is a critical treatment for many hospital procedures and health conditions, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients. Ideal candidates possess leadership skills and independence needed to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment. Must be capable of educating patients and providing exceptional customer service to our partners. Six months to one year of dialysis experience or some form of critical care nursing experience are also required.

Job Description

Principal Software Developer, National Medical Care, Inc., a Fresenius Medical Care N.A. company, Rockleigh, New Jersey (Hybrid)

Responsible for building software products, applications, solutions that are used in local, networked, cloud-based and public facing computer programs. Specific duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Analyze, design, develop, implement, integrate and maintain software applications that use Internet or Intranet endpoints.  
  • Prepare technical designs and design specifications, impact analysis, system build process configuration and integrate designs into enterprise web and native mobile platforms.
  • Manage development infrastructure, change control, configuration items and application security utilizing knowledge of information resource management.
  • Migrate and uplift native existing products and applications to the latest technologies.
  • Develop and integrate webservices for native mobile applications that can cater to different (Android/iOS) platforms.
  • Collaborate within software product development groups to deliver projects to customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure proper distribution of technical, functional and domain knowledge within the team to ensure assignments are completed according to schedule and business needs.
  • Participate and contribute to product requirements by meeting with SMEs to provide inputs for technical feasibility, infrastructure resources, system implementation, integrations, evaluation of system alternatives, system view and system constraints.
  • Complete documentation and procedures for software development and new change requests.
  • Develop interface modules for external systems to integrate with front-line applications.
  • Build pipelines for cloud applications and deploy on multistage Production environments.
  • Perform Proof of Concepts and recommend application software solutions based on optimal infrastructure capacity to ensure underlying application technology meets business needs and can be adapted to emerging business and technology demands.
  • Acquire knowledge on the latest and newest technologies in the areas of specific relevancy and become skilled with enterprise architecting.
  • Identify and research strategic digital transformation and process improvements to recommend to management.
  • Guide and mentor junior teammates acting as a resource in accordance with the definition of development processes, methodologies, and frameworks.
  • Review and comply with the Code of Business Conduct and all applicable company policies and procedures, local, state, and federal laws, and regulations.

Requirements:

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree (or an equivalent foreign degree) in Computer Science, Computer Information System, IT or a closely related field and 4 years of experience as a Software Developer working with enterprise systems.  Must also have 4 years of experience (which can have been gained concurrently with the primary experience requirement above) working with the following:

  • Design and development of user interface applications using Java EE, Ext JS, React, Node.js, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, Angular JS,  TypeScript, JS, Liferay, Oracle and Weblogic;
  • Health Level (HL7) messages handling in Healthcare domain using Ensemble product suite and ObjectScript;
  • Integration of SAP Business Objects SDK into Java application for generating BO reports;
  • Generate Zebra Barcode Labels using ZPL-II language and integrate to native Java applications;
  • Develop Micro services-based software applications using Spring Boot and RESTful webservices for native mobile applications; and
  • Build pipelines in Microsoft Azure for cloud applications and deploying them on multistage environments.

This is a hybrid position working approximately 1 day/week in the office in Rockleigh, New Jersey and 4 days/week at a home office.
