As a Clinic Manager at Fresenius Medical Care, you’ll manage the daily operations of our outpatient centers. More importantly, you’ll be the key driver in carrying out our mission: To deliver superior care that improves the quality of life of every patient, every day, setting the standard by which others in the health care industry are judged. This is accomplished by hiring, developing and inspiring a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with physicians, tracking and delivering superior patient outcomes and monitoring regulatory and safety requirements. Strong management skills are required and prior direct patient care experience is needed for occasions when the team needs a helping hand.

Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) at Fresenius Medical Care support and collaborate with RNs to provide dialysis treatment to several patients at a time while maintaining the functionality of the clinic. This involves prepping and testing equipment, reviewing treatment sheets, and opening the clinic at 4am for first shift. PCTs have a combination of technical skills and genuine passion needed to develop deep relationships with patients and improve their quality of life. Qualified candidates have prior customer service, healthcare and direct patient care experience, and will have the opportunity to learn the discipline of dialysis.

Fresenius Medical Care nurses are on the front line of patient care, improving the quality of life of every patient, every day. That means providing dialysis care to 10-12 patients at any given time, and collaborating with our multi-disciplinary team to deliver a unique care plan to each one of them. This role is all about relationships and the bond you’ll create with patients and their families. Prior dialysis nursing experience is helpful, but many successful candidates come from a background in ICU, PCU and/or surgery.

Inpatient RNs at Fresenius Medical Care perform dialysis treatments on an acute patient population in a hospital setting, including ICU, ER, Rehab, and Med/Surg units. What makes this role truly unique is the level of autonomy you’ll enjoy. Inpatient nurses are specifically accountable for administering and assessing each patient’s treatment plan. And because dialysis is a critical treatment for many hospital procedures and health conditions, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients. Ideal candidates possess leadership skills and independence needed to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment. Must be capable of educating patients and providing exceptional customer service to our partners. Six months to one year of dialysis experience or some form of critical care nursing experience are also required.

Home as one of Care Enablement’s three therapy verticals, focused on providing patients with flexible dialysis options they can perform at home—including home hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. The mission is to improve patient autonomy, quality of life, and clinical outcomes through innovative products, services, and support. 

The team works cross-functionally across R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, and Commercial functions to deliver personalized home therapy solutions and expand access to care beyond traditional clinical settings. Join our passionate team and help shape healthcare worldwide! 

As a Marketing Assistant, your role will focus on executive function and operational practice is transversal in the department, working and collaborating on projects in all areas of this, getting involved with all team members creating the necessary synergy to achieve the proposed objectives. Ensure good coordination of the Marketing team giving administrative support in their internal and external activities according to needs.

Your Responsibilities: 

1. Management of internal platforms

  • Administration of corporate tools for event management, speaker selection and expense management
  • Monitoring the approval and validation workflow within the systems.

2. Supplier management and associated processes

  • Onboarding of new suppliers, ensuring compliance with documentation requirements (in coordination with the Legal and Regulatory Compliance departments).
  • Periodic renewal of suppliers on the platforms. Onboarding, updating and maintaining supplier details on internal platforms.
  • Coordination with the Procurement department for the tactical validation of suppliers.
  • Liaising with internal departments to ensure compliance with corporate policies.

3. Management of activities, events and expenditure

  • Planning and logistical coordination of events organised by the Marketing and Sales department (meetings, training sessions, conferences, promotional activities, etc.).
  • Comprehensive management of attendees: drawing up and updating lists. Sending out invitations and communications. Following up on confirmations. Coordinating registrations and attendance.
  • Liaising directly with suppliers involved in events (agencies, venues, catering, technology, etc.).
  • Ensuring proper operational coordination with suppliers: validating requirements and the scope of the service. Monitoring of deadlines and deliverables. Monitoring of implementation in accordance with what has been approved.
  • Management of the full cycle of expense claims. Creation and management of expense portfolios:
  • Requesting and consolidating quotations.
  • Coordination of internal approvals.
  • Recording and accounting for expenses.
  • Monitoring the status of activities and budgetary control.

4. Interdepartmental relations

  • Ongoing coordination with:
  • Legal Department: contractual validation and compliance.
  • Regulatory compliance: adherence to internal policies and regulations.
  • Medical Department: validation of activities where applicable.
  • Procurement: approval processes and supplier management.
  • Accounts: correct allocation of expenses and financial monitoring.

5. Invoicing management and management control

  • Monitoring of invoices from the Marketing Department.
  • Support with the posting of expenses.
  • Monitoring of variances and preparation of basic reports.

6. Auditing and compliance

  • Compilation and organisation of evidence for:
  • Internal audits
  • Compliance audits.
  • Ensuring the traceability of documentation for all processes.
  • Strict compliance with internal and external regulations.

Your Profile: 

  • Academic degree or equivalent diploma in relevant subject matter, e.g. business administration, marketing, communications, sales  is a plus
  • At least two years in similar positions, with professional experience in a matrix environment, interacting and collaborating closely with relevant departments. Desirable to have performed similar functions to those described above in a product marketing department in health-related companies it is a plus
  • Entrepreneurial and self-confident person, proactive, dynamic and decisive, with great adaptability. With collaborative attitudes, with initiative, with accountability, organized, with a transversal vision of a Hub department, Polyvalent, with capacity for anticipation and autonomy.
  • Good capacity for interpersonal relationships, discretion and assertiveness.
  • Good disposition for teamwork and collaboration with other departments. Organizational capacity, detail orientation and results orientation;
  • Ability to work under pressure, and meet set deadlines. Alignment with company policies, customer orientation and effective commercial communication.
  • Experience to operate in a matrix environment and to collaborate closely with all other relevant departments of the organization.
