As a Clinic Manager at Fresenius Medical Care, you’ll manage the daily operations of our outpatient centers. More importantly, you’ll be the key driver in carrying out our mission: To deliver superior care that improves the quality of life of every patient, every day, setting the standard by which others in the health care industry are judged. This is accomplished by hiring, developing and inspiring a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with physicians, tracking and delivering superior patient outcomes and monitoring regulatory and safety requirements. Strong management skills are required and prior direct patient care experience is needed for occasions when the team needs a helping hand.

Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) at Fresenius Medical Care support and collaborate with RNs to provide dialysis treatment to several patients at a time while maintaining the functionality of the clinic. This involves prepping and testing equipment, reviewing treatment sheets, and opening the clinic at 4am for first shift. PCTs have a combination of technical skills and genuine passion needed to develop deep relationships with patients and improve their quality of life. Qualified candidates have prior customer service, healthcare and direct patient care experience, and will have the opportunity to learn the discipline of dialysis.

Fresenius Medical Care nurses are on the front line of patient care, improving the quality of life of every patient, every day. That means providing dialysis care to 10-12 patients at any given time, and collaborating with our multi-disciplinary team to deliver a unique care plan to each one of them. This role is all about relationships and the bond you’ll create with patients and their families. Prior dialysis nursing experience is helpful, but many successful candidates come from a background in ICU, PCU and/or surgery.

Primary responsibility is the support of the system and its users within the scope of technical responsibility for LogaHR, carrying out IT-heavy activities in LogaHR that are necessary for correct and timely payroll runs.

In addition, the position is responsible for all the administrative tasks related to system maintenance, like documentation, testing and training, all performed while following the Fresenius Medical Care culture by exemplifying core values and providing superior customer service. This position requires independent thinking, technical skills, communication, cross-functional team play and documentation expertise.

Your responsibilities:

  • Ensure the proper operation of LogaHR.
  • CR and requirements management for LogaHR, including administration in the ticketing systems, documented testing and approval of system changes.
  • Create and maintain documentation for Business Requirements, Testing and Sign-off.
  • Create, align on and document functional concepts.
  • Create and maintain LogaHR process descriptions and documentation.
  • Create and maintain end user documentation and training materials.
  • Provide training on Loga functionalities to colleagues with Loga access.
  • Support LogaHR users with special rights with the correct administration of complex situations.
  • Supporting LogaHR users on general questions.
  • Maintaining payroll, time management and organizational management functions in LogaHR as a system administrator.
  • Carrying out data imports and exports in LogaHR.
  • Carrying out the month-end time management and payroll closing activities.
  • Act as a backup to other team members.
  • Assist with various projects and duties as assigned.

Our requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Business Administration, Computer Science, or Business Informatics is required.

Required professional experience (in years):

  • Medium experience (min. 2 years) in time management and payroll accounting.
  • Medium experience (min. 2 years) in HR IT system management.
  • Medium experience (min. 2 years) in project management and system requirements management and testing.
  • In total, around 6 years of experience in the above-mentioned areas.

Required personal competencies:

  • Process and solution-oriented thinking and acting.
  • Proactive and independent way of working.
  • Reliability and ability to work in a team.
  • Thorough and meticulous with a good feel for facts and numbers.
  • Dedicated and reliable.
  • Ability to complete work assignments within required time constraints and meet critical deadlines.
  • Good communication with various departments and well versed in dealing with customers and employees.

Other specialized knowledge, expertise and skills:

a) Functional knowledge

  • Very good understanding of the payroll processes.
  • Good general understanding of tariff and company-specific regulations.
  • Good understanding of data protection rules and methods.
  • Knowledge of and experience in the impacts and interaction of various back-office teams, such as HR, Payroll, Finance, Benefits.

b) IT skills

  • Very good PC skills (Microsoft Office, Office 365).
  • Work experience with various time management and/or payroll systems.

c) Languages

  • German – fluent (C2)
  • English – proficient (B2)
