The role is within the Global Business Services (GBS) organization and will report directly to the Global Process Excellence Lead within Operational Excellence and will have diverse responsibilities focusing on process excellence.
The role will be part of the Process Excellence function, managing a portfolio of projects/programs, and partnering with employees globally. This role will partner with key executives across finance and procurement organizations as well as the Operations, Project Management Office, Service Management, and the Transformation team to execute day to day operational deliverables with quality and impactful business outcome. This role requires a strategic problem-solver who is an effective influencer who also has a high degree of business insight. They need to deeply understand the business and rapidly demonstrate impact and value to the organization.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Establish and institutionalize effective project management and governance frameworks.
• Partner with GBS operations and IT to implement Business Process Management systems and models.
• Deliver Process Excellence on high impact and visible strategic projects through Process Discovery, Process Mapping and Documentation, and Pain Point Analysis.
• Conduct process deep dive sessions identify process standardization and optimization opportunities.
• Drive ideation and PI opportunity identification across GBS towers and processes.
• Leverage internal and external benchmarks to identify business process improvement initiatives.
• Lead the efficiency agenda and drive process transformation and measurable value across key stakeholders and departments.
• Partner with Global Process Owners/Sub-Owners, Business Process Owners and Operations to improve processes, realize efficiencies and drive an innovation roadmap globally.
• Identify potential automation opportunities and work closely with Intelligent automation to deliver value.
• Advise the business on best practices and available tools to manage business processes and other strategic initiatives.
• Articulate the benefits and estimated ROI for each project and funnel opportunities.
• Develop approach to infuse the continuous improvement mindset into the GBS culture.
• Strengthen the culture of Continuous Improvement through trainings and events.
• Share best practices by bringing insights to business unit counterparts and positively contribute to a culture of process excellence.
• Develop positive relationships with key partners across the company, including engineering, product, and finance.
• Run cross-functional team meetings efficiently and optimally, with the ability to connect dots and influence key decisions.
• Participate in QBRs , weekly and monthly operation review to discuss functional health on a continuous basis
• Responsible for the direct supervision of various levels of both executives and staff.
EDUCATION AND REQUIRED CREDENTIALS:
• A Bachelor's degree is required. An advanced degree is preferred.
• 10-15 years of experience leading Process excellence or transformation programs.
• Global experience.
• Created a culture of enabling the business as well as a culture centred on the company’s mission.
• Ability to empower a team and align them to the mission of the overall company while achieving goals set within the financial operations group.
• Ability to support and drive innovation as well as efficiencies across the organization.
• Strong understanding of process mining, modelling and automation tools
• Prior experience identifying and evaluating automation opportunities (incl. RPA) including business case development
• Black Belt certification or equivalent experience required
• Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification is a plus
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Prior Shared Services/GBS experience, working in a global, complex and matrix organization as well as working with outsourced providers or management consulting firms is a must.
• Experience in designing and applying operational processes optimization frameworks such as Lean Management, Six Sigma, design thinking and other process modelling/ re-engineering tools.
• Proven abilities to ask the right questions and to use sound business judgment when collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Excellent time and project management skills with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and work collaboratively.
• Ability to quickly learn and be proficient with FME systems and tools, troubleshoot and resolve issues. Experience in planning and execution of large/ medium End to End processes in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, P2P (Procure to Pay), O2C (Order to Cash), R2R (Record to Report), FP&A, Tax and Treasury processes is a plus.

• Analytical with excellent problem-solving skills
• Solid understanding of various automation tools and approach to automation is a PLUS
• Prior experience with implementing robotic process automation (RPA) is a PLUS
• Flexible working schedule with late night/early morning support hours if needed
• Ability to travel internationally 15-25%
• Excellent team player who is able to work with virtual and global cross functional teams
• Ability to work with deadlines and in a fast-paced environment
