Windchill Developer
Design and implement new engineering IT solutions in the context of System Lifecycle Management (SLM) / Engineering Eco-System for FMC’s global product organization to support the digital transformation towards Product Digital Twin and Digital Thread based on industry-best-practice technologies. Define, architect, build and maintain/operate digital solutions in a cross functional team for a set of engineering capabilities. Be able to perform changes on existing software configuration and make them available to test, demo, validation and production systems. Main area of work will be the with PTC products Windchill, Thingworx, Modeler.
Your Assignments
- Architect and implement (configure, programming) new features and changes to existing solutions
- Maintain a in detail technical understanding of the IT solutions implemented
- Plan and execute technical deployments to test, demo, validation and production environments within our cloud infrastructure
- Perform root cause analysis in case of malfunctions or reduction of system performance an initiate problem resolution
- Support in testing of the solution implemented prior to deployments
- Collaborate with external partners during all phases of the solution development
- Collaborate with suppliers of the IT solution as part of solution development activities or problem analysis
- Coordinate necessary operation activities to achieve a high performance and availability of the solutions implemented. Collaborate with external partners where required
- Contribute in projects to implement the digital strategy for core areas of R&D, manufacturing, quality, regulatory and technical service following the Digital Twin vision for Fresenius Medical Care
Your profile
- 3+ years of related professional experience in an international business environment
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 2+ years in experience in Java programming
- Preferably experience in solutioning of IT systems used in R&D / development of Medical Devices or products & services from other industries like automotive, industrial equipment, aerospace or consumer goods
- Experience in (preferably) Windchill, Thingworx, Polarion
- Robust knowledge applying agile development methods, Devops, CI/CD incl. tools like Azure DevOps
- Expertise on running applications in cloud environments with high degree of automation ensuring highest levels of availability, security and integrity of data managed
- Preferably business / background knowledge in R&D / SLM/PLM/ALM, Engineering IT, Devops / product development / engineering from medical device, automotive, aerospace, industrial equipment or any other product R&D heavy industry
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Digital technology, IoT, IT savviness demonstrated in multiple projects
- University degree or higher in (Software) Engineering / Digital / IT Management, combination of above or similar
