As a Clinic Manager at Fresenius Medical Care, you’ll manage the daily operations of our outpatient centers. More importantly, you’ll be the key driver in carrying out our mission: To deliver superior care that improves the quality of life of every patient, every day, setting the standard by which others in the health care industry are judged. This is accomplished by hiring, developing and inspiring a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with physicians, tracking and delivering superior patient outcomes and monitoring regulatory and safety requirements. Strong management skills are required and prior direct patient care experience is needed for occasions when the team needs a helping hand.

Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) at Fresenius Medical Care support and collaborate with RNs to provide dialysis treatment to several patients at a time while maintaining the functionality of the clinic. This involves prepping and testing equipment, reviewing treatment sheets, and opening the clinic at 4am for first shift. PCTs have a combination of technical skills and genuine passion needed to develop deep relationships with patients and improve their quality of life. Qualified candidates have prior customer service, healthcare and direct patient care experience, and will have the opportunity to learn the discipline of dialysis.

Fresenius Medical Care nurses are on the front line of patient care, improving the quality of life of every patient, every day. That means providing dialysis care to 10-12 patients at any given time, and collaborating with our multi-disciplinary team to deliver a unique care plan to each one of them. This role is all about relationships and the bond you’ll create with patients and their families. Prior dialysis nursing experience is helpful, but many successful candidates come from a background in ICU, PCU and/or surgery.

Inpatient RNs at Fresenius Medical Care perform dialysis treatments on an acute patient population in a hospital setting, including ICU, ER, Rehab, and Med/Surg units. What makes this role truly unique is the level of autonomy you’ll enjoy. Inpatient nurses are specifically accountable for administering and assessing each patient’s treatment plan. And because dialysis is a critical treatment for many hospital procedures and health conditions, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients. Ideal candidates possess leadership skills and independence needed to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment. Must be capable of educating patients and providing exceptional customer service to our partners. Six months to one year of dialysis experience or some form of critical care nursing experience are also required.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

The position is responsible for leading business analysis and business process optimization for new and evolving requirements. In partnership with Real Estate and Corporate Security business owners, the role defines and manages the digital strategy and roadmap for relevant platforms, ensuring effective planning, prioritization, delivery, and continuous improvement. The position stays current on product developments, evaluates and implements approved new functionality, and ensures all system changes are delivered according to approved requirements. It also oversees documentation, signoff, testing, and quality assurance activities in collaboration with ITS functions.

Lead business analysis for new requirements / business process optimization. This may include ideas and concepts which are still in the evaluation and/or approval process.

  • In partnership with the Real Estate and Corporate Security Business Owners define digital strategy and roadmap for platforms and functionality in scope, ensuring effective planning, prioritization, delivery, & continuous improvement within it
  • Remain up to date on Real Estate and Corporate Security product developments and evaluate those which may be most beneficial to FME.  The scope extends beyond the functionality that is delivered in periodic releases by vendors.  Implement new functionality when appropriate and upon approval.
  • Ensure all system changes, including configuration, are completed according to approved requirements, and all documentation and signoff requirements are fulfilled.
  • Fulfill all testing and quality assurance requirements for all systems changes, in collaboration with relevant ITS functions.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Partnership

  • As Technology Business Partner, empower the Real Estate and Corporate Security organization to fulfill Fresenius Medical Care’s priorities
  • Advocate for the needs of the Real Estate and Corporate Security organizations in the fulfillment of their technology strategies and specific initiatives. 
  • Facilitate the completion of all FME requirements to move initiatives forward, e.g. Enterprise Architecture, Data Privacy, Information Security, Workers Council, etc.
  • Partner with Real Estate and Corporate Security leadership in developing and gaining approval for business cases for technology initiatives that are worthy of pursuit.
  • Develop a comprehensive technology roadmap, in conjunction with business counterparts in line with business and ITS strategy
  • Deliver associated technology programs, projects, and initiatives, on-time, on-budget, with the agreed upon scope and high-quality, production ready.

Customer Satisfaction / Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor Real Estate and Corporate Security customer satisfaction, both formally and informally, with the products, services, and solutions we provide.  Strive for continuous improvement over time.
  • Continual evaluation of the products, services, and solutions we provide to ensure they are optimal for fulfillment of our Real Estate and Corporate Security customers’ needs and pursue improvements where applicable.  Evaluation should consider licensing and support costs, ease of use, simplicity of architecture, fulfillment of security/audit requirements, etc.
  • Closely monitor and manage the performance of our external support vendors for Real Estate and Corporate Security.   Development of Service Level Agreements and Performance Metrics for the products, services, and solutions they provide to us and manage cases where agreed to performance has not been met.

Team / Vendor Management

  • Drive delivery and maintenance of Real Estate and Corporate Security products, services, and solutions, in conjunction with supporting ITS functions and vendors
  • Drive alignment with delivery approach, cognizant of the Enterprise Solutions and Application Solutions (AMS/AD) delivery models
  • Establish tracking, expectation setting, and feedback mechanisms, ensuring accountability across planning, execution, & reporting cycles.

Financial Management

  • Continually monitor the costs incurred by our organization and identify opportunities to save costs without sacrificing customer satisfaction with our products, services, and solutions.
  • Ensure that evaluations of additions or enhancements to our products, services, and solutions include cost as a key criterion.

Audit / Compliance & Governance

  • Support for the fulfillment of all audit and compliance requirements, including Software Development Life Cycle, SOX, Global Data Privacy, Information Security, Internal Controls, Workers Council, ITS Portfolio Management, etc.
  • Support all Legal, Compliance and ITS Enterprise Services governance processes including Intake Process, Change Request Process, Initiative Review & Approval Process, Release Management Process, etc.

EDUCATION AND REQUIRED CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree; Advanced Degree desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • 10+ years of experience in Global Real Estate and Corporate Security Technology experience preferred
  • IT Business Partnering Experience production environment across 50+ countries and 100,000+ employee population base,
  • Experience knowledge of implementing and supporting business systems in regulated environments
  • Track record for being able to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions by leveraging system expertise and applying creativity and perseverance. 
  • Exceptional customer service orientation. Continually demonstrates a passion for the well-being of our employees and customers. 
  • Knowledge of our employees’ and managers’ Real Estate and Corporate Security requirements, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Approaches all new challenges and requirements from a process and operational efficiency mindset.
