As a Clinic Manager at Fresenius Medical Care, you’ll manage the daily operations of our outpatient centers. More importantly, you’ll be the key driver in carrying out our mission: To deliver superior care that improves the quality of life of every patient, every day, setting the standard by which others in the health care industry are judged. This is accomplished by hiring, developing and inspiring a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with physicians, tracking and delivering superior patient outcomes and monitoring regulatory and safety requirements. Strong management skills are required and prior direct patient care experience is needed for occasions when the team needs a helping hand.

Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) at Fresenius Medical Care support and collaborate with RNs to provide dialysis treatment to several patients at a time while maintaining the functionality of the clinic. This involves prepping and testing equipment, reviewing treatment sheets, and opening the clinic at 4am for first shift. PCTs have a combination of technical skills and genuine passion needed to develop deep relationships with patients and improve their quality of life. Qualified candidates have prior customer service, healthcare and direct patient care experience, and will have the opportunity to learn the discipline of dialysis.

Fresenius Medical Care nurses are on the front line of patient care, improving the quality of life of every patient, every day. That means providing dialysis care to 10-12 patients at any given time, and collaborating with our multi-disciplinary team to deliver a unique care plan to each one of them. This role is all about relationships and the bond you’ll create with patients and their families. Prior dialysis nursing experience is helpful, but many successful candidates come from a background in ICU, PCU and/or surgery.

Inpatient RNs at Fresenius Medical Care perform dialysis treatments on an acute patient population in a hospital setting, including ICU, ER, Rehab, and Med/Surg units. What makes this role truly unique is the level of autonomy you’ll enjoy. Inpatient nurses are specifically accountable for administering and assessing each patient’s treatment plan. And because dialysis is a critical treatment for many hospital procedures and health conditions, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients. Ideal candidates possess leadership skills and independence needed to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment. Must be capable of educating patients and providing exceptional customer service to our partners. Six months to one year of dialysis experience or some form of critical care nursing experience are also required.

Job Description

Fresenius Medical Care, a leading company in the sector, with more than 25 years of experience, is looking for an experienced Supply Chain professional, with a Minimum +5 Years of experience in Medical Device/Pharma Logistics.

We are lookign for a Management local Supply Chain Operations (Spain and Portugal) according Global strategy, internal processes and procedures.

Task:

  • Responsible for all local Logistics activities (Warehouse Management, Transportation, Planning, Replenishment to the Clinics, etc) 
  • Focusing on improvement on all local Logistics operations.
  • Actively involve in Logistics 3PL and Provider relationship management.
  • Coordinate and lead local S4H implementation, rollout and stabilization project in local markets under scope.
  • Lead Local Supply Chain projects to drive expanded capabilities, improve the efficiency of existing processes and enable cost reduction. 
  • Systematic review of all inventories and stock levels.
  • Responsible for local Supply Chain KPIs  
  • Responsible for Logistics Budget in addition, open to financial improvement, standardized and cost transparent. 
  • Lead monthly Sales & Operations (S&OP) process within the company, 
  • Participate demand and budget planning meetings with sales, marketing, financial control teams to analyse forecasts, 
  • Ensuring compliance with Local & Global guidelines and responsible of local and Global Quality management (GDP/ADR etc) 
  • Create and maintain teamwork and team spirit in the local logistic team. 
  • Secure Logistics employees’ occupational health and Safety regulations within company 
  • Represent company against local Logistics state authorities.  
  • Coordinate information flow with Global Supply Chain Function, Business and other vertical functions.

Training and Education:

Would be an asset vocational training, university degree, PhD, MBA, specialized further education etc.

Professional experience (in years):

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in managing Supply Chain in the Spain and Portugal (additional knowledge of Portugal processes will be considered an advantage), in a department of an internationally operating corporation, with experience in S4H implementation, rollout and development.

Personal competencies:

  • Would be an asset Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, Business Administration or similar 
  • Minimum +5 Years of experience in Medical Device/Pharma Logistics. 
  • Excellent communication skills with strong intercultural skills and understanding, linked to Finance and Business.  
  • Very high social competence paired with persuasiveness and self-confidence, high level of energy and positivity  
  • Self-organized, accountable, target oriented with strong analytical skills with ability to work in a fast-paced-environment. 
  • Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken. Portuguese positive to have.
  • SAP APO knowledge would be advantage Strong initiative and self-motivation to proactively lead and manage processes and projects from start to finish;
  • Focused on delivering measurable results and maintaining high-quality standards throughout tasks and initiatives;
  • Demonstrates a proactive mindset with a willingness to take ownership, identify opportunities for improvement, and offer effective solutions;
  • Committed to continuous professional growth and the enhancement of skills to stay ahead of Supply Chain trends;
  • Ability to build cooperative relationships and effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels and from all involved departments, including within the global organization of FME and externals (local and regional levels);
  • Adaptable and open to change, proactivity, with a positive attitude toward new challenges and opportunities;
  • Communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly, resolve conflicts constructively, and influence others in a professional and persuasive manner.

Functional knowledge

  • Practical knowledge of Iberia Supply Chain Operations, requirements, procedures and stakeholders. Additional knowledge of EU road transport will be considered an advantage, as sea freight transport as well.

IT skills

  • Would be an asset strong MS Office skills; mainly Excel, Projects and BI’s
  • Would be an asset experience with other relevant software (TMS, WMS, MM), with ability to learn new software applications and programs, will be considered an advantage.

Languages

  • Would be an asset excellent written and spoken Spanish and English; additional languages are welcome, mainly Portuguese.
