As a Clinic Manager at Fresenius Medical Care, you’ll manage the daily operations of our outpatient centers. More importantly, you’ll be the key driver in carrying out our mission: To deliver superior care that improves the quality of life of every patient, every day, setting the standard by which others in the health care industry are judged. This is accomplished by hiring, developing and inspiring a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with physicians, tracking and delivering superior patient outcomes and monitoring regulatory and safety requirements. Strong management skills are required and prior direct patient care experience is needed for occasions when the team needs a helping hand.

Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) at Fresenius Medical Care support and collaborate with RNs to provide dialysis treatment to several patients at a time while maintaining the functionality of the clinic. This involves prepping and testing equipment, reviewing treatment sheets, and opening the clinic at 4am for first shift. PCTs have a combination of technical skills and genuine passion needed to develop deep relationships with patients and improve their quality of life. Qualified candidates have prior customer service, healthcare and direct patient care experience, and will have the opportunity to learn the discipline of dialysis.

Fresenius Medical Care nurses are on the front line of patient care, improving the quality of life of every patient, every day. That means providing dialysis care to 10-12 patients at any given time, and collaborating with our multi-disciplinary team to deliver a unique care plan to each one of them. This role is all about relationships and the bond you’ll create with patients and their families. Prior dialysis nursing experience is helpful, but many successful candidates come from a background in ICU, PCU and/or surgery.

Inpatient RNs at Fresenius Medical Care perform dialysis treatments on an acute patient population in a hospital setting, including ICU, ER, Rehab, and Med/Surg units. What makes this role truly unique is the level of autonomy you’ll enjoy. Inpatient nurses are specifically accountable for administering and assessing each patient’s treatment plan. And because dialysis is a critical treatment for many hospital procedures and health conditions, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients. Ideal candidates possess leadership skills and independence needed to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment. Must be capable of educating patients and providing exceptional customer service to our partners. Six months to one year of dialysis experience or some form of critical care nursing experience are also required.

Market Access Manager:

Responsable de desarrollar e implementar estrategias alineadas a los pilares de MAHE: Acceso al Mercado, Economía de la Salud, Asuntos Gubernamentales y Cámaras & Asociaciones, para garantizar la presencia institucional de la empresa, el posicionamiento de sus productos, y la colaboración activa con entes gubernamentales, asociaciones, aseguradoras y stakeholders clave. Además, es responsable de construir relaciones estratégicas con las autoridades del sector salud y económico, así como con embajadas, para facilitar la inclusión de terapias innovadoras, mejorar procesos regulatorios, e impulsar iniciativas de salud pública en beneficio de los pacientes y del sistema de salud.

Actividades:

  • Desarrollar e implementar estrategias de acceso al mercado para posicionar los productos clave en instituciones públicas y privadas.
  • Coordinar el análisis y generación de evidencia económica que respalde el valor de las terapias de la compañía.
  • Liderar las relaciones institucionales con autoridades del sector salud, económico, legislativo y diplomático.
  • Representar a la compañía ante cámaras, asociaciones, foros públicos y organismos multisectoriales.
  • Promover y facilitar la inclusión de productos en listados institucionales y cuadros básicos del sistema de salud.
  • Colaborar con asociaciones de pacientes y organizaciones civiles en iniciativas de salud y acceso a terapias.
  • Gestionar proyectos regulatorios y estratégicos vinculados al posicionamiento de productos en el sistema de salud.
  • Monitorear el entorno político, económico y normativo para identificar oportunidades o riesgos que afecten al negocio.
  • Desarrollar e implementar mecanismos de relacionamiento institucional con stakeholders clave del sector salud.
  • Fomentar la participación activa de la empresa en organismos del sector salud y espacios de decisión pública.
  • Coordinar con áreas internas como asuntos regulatorios, médicos, legales y comerciales para garantizar la alineación estratégica.
  • Supervisar la elaboración de análisis de impacto en políticas públicas y proponer recomendaciones a la dirección.
  • Establecer alianzas institucionales con entidades gubernamentales, académicas y del tercer sector.
  • Impulsar estrategias de incidencia que favorezcan la adopción de innovación tecnológica en salud.
  • Participar en la planeación estratégica y construcción de rutas de trabajo interinstitucionales.

Educación

Licenciatura en Ciencias de la Salud, Economía, Relaciones Internacionales, Políticas Públicas, Administración de Empresas o áreas afines.  

Experiencia y Conocimento General

  • Mínimo 10 años en posiciones similares dentro del sector salud, con experiencia en acceso al mercado, asuntos gubernamentales, relaciones institucionales o economía de la salud.
  • Deseable experiencia en la industria de dispositivos médicos o farmacéutica
  • Conocimento de lo sistema de salud Ecuador, Colombia y Peru (público y privado)
  • Marco regulatorio nacional de dispositivos médicos
  • Procesos de inclusión en cuadros básicos y compras públicas
  • Economía de la salud y evaluación de tecnologías sanitarias
  • Funcionamiento de cámaras empresariales y asociaciones
  • Estrategias de acceso a terapias innovadoras
  • Relacionamiento institucional con autoridades y stakeholders
  • Ingles avanzado
