As a Clinic Manager at Fresenius Medical Care, you’ll manage the daily operations of our outpatient centers. More importantly, you’ll be the key driver in carrying out our mission: To deliver superior care that improves the quality of life of every patient, every day, setting the standard by which others in the health care industry are judged. This is accomplished by hiring, developing and inspiring a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with physicians, tracking and delivering superior patient outcomes and monitoring regulatory and safety requirements. Strong management skills are required and prior direct patient care experience is needed for occasions when the team needs a helping hand.
Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) at Fresenius Medical Care support and collaborate with RNs to provide dialysis treatment to several patients at a time while maintaining the functionality of the clinic. This involves prepping and testing equipment, reviewing treatment sheets, and opening the clinic at 4am for first shift. PCTs have a combination of technical skills and genuine passion needed to develop deep relationships with patients and improve their quality of life. Qualified candidates have prior customer service, healthcare and direct patient care experience, and will have the opportunity to learn the discipline of dialysis.
Fresenius Medical Care nurses are on the front line of patient care, improving the quality of life of every patient, every day. That means providing dialysis care to 10-12 patients at any given time, and collaborating with our multi-disciplinary team to deliver a unique care plan to each one of them. This role is all about relationships and the bond you’ll create with patients and their families. Prior dialysis nursing experience is helpful, but many successful candidates come from a background in ICU, PCU and/or surgery.
Inpatient RNs at Fresenius Medical Care perform dialysis treatments on an acute patient population in a hospital setting, including ICU, ER, Rehab, and Med/Surg units. What makes this role truly unique is the level of autonomy you’ll enjoy. Inpatient nurses are specifically accountable for administering and assessing each patient’s treatment plan. And because dialysis is a critical treatment for many hospital procedures and health conditions, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients. Ideal candidates possess leadership skills and independence needed to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment. Must be capable of educating patients and providing exceptional customer service to our partners. Six months to one year of dialysis experience or some form of critical care nursing experience are also required.
Job Description
Realizar la gestión de insumos clínicos y otros:
- Recibir insumos, gestionar facturas e ingresar información a sistema SAP.
- Realizar inventario según requerimiento de jefatura.
- Realizar inventario bodega para gestionar pedido RIC del centro de diálisis y pedidos extraordinarios.
- Entregar insumos diarios a la sala de diálisis de acuerdo al formulario de la compañía.
- Apoyar a Enfermera jefe en el control y uso eficiente de insumos clínicos.
- Apoyar en gestión de bodega en función de los procedimientos establecidos por el área de calidad. (Procedimiento que incluye esfuerzo físico por el movimiento de cajas).
- Gestionar ROI Y SOI de acuerdo con los requerimientos de la jefatura y ajustado a los procedimientos de la compañía.
Realizar la gestión de los procesos administrativos relacionados con recursos humanos:
- Apoyar a la Enfermera Jefe en el proceso de pago de remuneraciones, según tiempos establecidos.
- Apoyar a Enfermera Jefe en el orden y actualización de la carpeta del personal de los colaboradores.
- Solicitar documentos de colaboradores a honorarios previo a su ingreso al centro de diálisis y enviarlos a RRHH.
- Apoyar búsqueda de personal a honorarios según necesidades de la clínica.
- Recepcionar y publicar información corporativa tanto para colaboradores como para pacientes, enviada por Casa Matriz.
- Contactar a ambulancia del prestador contratado en caso de accidente de algún colaborador.
- Apoyar a Enfermera Jefe en la gestión administrativa relacionada con las necesidades de los colaboradores.
Realizar procedimientos de facturación y cobranza:
- Mantener actualizada sistema MAI, ingresando la asistencia diaria de los pacientes al centro de diálisis.
- Realizar carga MAI en SRT.
- Efectuar cuadratura de MAI-SRT de pre-cierre de mes para detectar y corregir inconsistencias.
- Elaborar certificados y programas correspondientes a instituciones privadas.
- Mantener actualización de cupos del centro.
- Solicitar y mantener información personal actualizada de los pacientes.
- Ingresar en Euclid información personal de pacientes nuevos.
- Entregar orientación a los pacientes con información general en relación con su ámbito de acción.
- Solicitar documentación al paciente al momento de ingresar. Antecedentes clínicos (informe de enfermería, informe médico, marcadores virales y últimos exámenes). Antecedentes (consentimiento informado, IPD (Índice de Proceso de Diagnóstico).
- Armar carpetas médicas y de enfermería de cada paciente que ingrese al centro.
Asistir a pacientes, familiares y/o acompañantes:
- Entregar asistencia de transporte a pacientes y registrar para rendir gastos a contabilidad.
- Gestionar el servicio de transporte de pacientes.
- Llamar a servicios de urgencia en caso de ser necesario.
- Entregar información oportuna a pacientes en función de lo indicado por Enfermera Jefe.
- Publicar los contenidos enviados por áreas correspondientes en el diario mural, con información autorizada y actualizada.
Realizar labores específicas administrativas del centro, tales como:
- Detectar e informar deterioro de infraestructura y activos del centro.
- Gestionar fondos de caja chica de acuerdo a indicaciones de Enfermera Jefe.
- Registrar, ingresar y gestionar facturas y otros documentos del centro.
- Mantener actualizada documentación del centro de diálisis.
- Revisar el funcionamiento y mantención de equipo electrógeno (encendido de equipo y registro de su funcionamiento).
- Gestionar solicitudes de jefatura directa que estén vinculadas al objetivo y naturaleza del cargo.
