As a Clinic Manager at Fresenius Medical Care, you’ll manage the daily operations of our outpatient centers. More importantly, you’ll be the key driver in carrying out our mission: To deliver superior care that improves the quality of life of every patient, every day, setting the standard by which others in the health care industry are judged. This is accomplished by hiring, developing and inspiring a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with physicians, tracking and delivering superior patient outcomes and monitoring regulatory and safety requirements. Strong management skills are required and prior direct patient care experience is needed for occasions when the team needs a helping hand.

Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) at Fresenius Medical Care support and collaborate with RNs to provide dialysis treatment to several patients at a time while maintaining the functionality of the clinic. This involves prepping and testing equipment, reviewing treatment sheets, and opening the clinic at 4am for first shift. PCTs have a combination of technical skills and genuine passion needed to develop deep relationships with patients and improve their quality of life. Qualified candidates have prior customer service, healthcare and direct patient care experience, and will have the opportunity to learn the discipline of dialysis.

Fresenius Medical Care nurses are on the front line of patient care, improving the quality of life of every patient, every day. That means providing dialysis care to 10-12 patients at any given time, and collaborating with our multi-disciplinary team to deliver a unique care plan to each one of them. This role is all about relationships and the bond you’ll create with patients and their families. Prior dialysis nursing experience is helpful, but many successful candidates come from a background in ICU, PCU and/or surgery.

Job Description

Global Compliance Program

  • Strongly supports in the further development of the Global Compliance Program, including optimization of processes, procedures, policies, training etc. and allocates available resources effectively and efficiently                
  • Strongly supports the implementation of compliance instruments such as processes, procedures, policies, training, IT-tools on a global level regarding area of responsibility        
  • Strongly supports in monitoring regulatory developments and adaption of Global Compliance Program accordingly, e.g., attending events, associations and doing research

Projects and Operations

  • Analyses data and review cycles and suggests improvements for quality, operations and lead times
  • Handles the process of data selection independently by writing queries and in accordance with specific requirements
  • Extracts data from different source systems
  • Prepares data (cleanses, categorizes, combines, etc.) with Power Query M and in accordance with specific requirements
  • Illustrates data in suitable format via MS Excel Reports, Pivot Tables, Power BI reports
  • Creates reports and dashboards in Power BI
  • Continuously broadens knowledge in Jira Query Language (JQL) writing, different query languages, data extraction, and Data Analysis Expressions (DAX)
  • Continuously broadens experiences on usage of AI models
  • Supports and trains team with MS Office skills and knowledge sharing
  • Identifies gaps and areas for improvement in existing processes and works with development teams in consultation with the respective supervisor
  • Strongly supports the performance of all relevant projects and ongoing operations regarding scope, timeline for area of responsibility
  • Strongly supports in the maintenance and development of instruments for communication of compliance-relevant content; maintains and develops communication platform content (e.g., intranet) and performs processes for document management              
  • Strongly supports the management in compliance-related IT-operations and infrastructure in close cooperation with the respective IT-departments for the area of responsibility 
  • Proactively participates in relevant compliance and investigation training, networks and other respective educational activities to further professional development in consultation with supervisor
  • Strongly supports the implementation, design, maintenance and further development / improvement of a framework which enables the compliance function to monitor, regularly assess, improve and ensure risk orientation of the compliance management system with all relevant aspects regarding area of responsibility, e.g.

- Policies and procedures

- Training framework and respective training content

- Communicative instruments: e.g., intranet, newsletters

- Control framework and design of relevant first and second level controls

- Monitoring of business and corporate transactions, processes, structures, relations as well as external developments

- Regular and ad hoc reporting framework

  • Strongly supports monitoring, analysing, assessing and recording of business and corporate transactions, processes, structures, relations as well as external developments with regard to identifying compliance risks related to area of responsibility, designing mitigating actions and tracking the respective status in the framework of compliance risk management related to area of responsibility
  • Strongly supports the identification of information, which needs to be communicated to all relevant Compliance Departments and proposes actions for a sound collaboration in between all Compliance Departments            
  • Strongly supports project work       
  • Contributes to additional tasks in consultation with the respective supervisor

Reporting and Collaboration

  • Reports regularly and ad hoc to supervisor with respect to area of responsibility
  • Strongly supports in ensuring a regular and ad hoc information flow for a sound collaboration within the Global Compliance Department with respect to area of responsibility  

Strongly supports regularly reporting to internal and external stakeholders
