As a Clinic Manager at Fresenius Medical Care, you’ll manage the daily operations of our outpatient centers. More importantly, you’ll be the key driver in carrying out our mission: To deliver superior care that improves the quality of life of every patient, every day, setting the standard by which others in the health care industry are judged. This is accomplished by hiring, developing and inspiring a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with physicians, tracking and delivering superior patient outcomes and monitoring regulatory and safety requirements. Strong management skills are required and prior direct patient care experience is needed for occasions when the team needs a helping hand.
Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) at Fresenius Medical Care support and collaborate with RNs to provide dialysis treatment to several patients at a time while maintaining the functionality of the clinic. This involves prepping and testing equipment, reviewing treatment sheets, and opening the clinic at 4am for first shift. PCTs have a combination of technical skills and genuine passion needed to develop deep relationships with patients and improve their quality of life. Qualified candidates have prior customer service, healthcare and direct patient care experience, and will have the opportunity to learn the discipline of dialysis.
Fresenius Medical Care nurses are on the front line of patient care, improving the quality of life of every patient, every day. That means providing dialysis care to 10-12 patients at any given time, and collaborating with our multi-disciplinary team to deliver a unique care plan to each one of them. This role is all about relationships and the bond you’ll create with patients and their families. Prior dialysis nursing experience is helpful, but many successful candidates come from a background in ICU, PCU and/or surgery.

Am Xenios Headquarter in Heilbronn übernehmen Sie als (Senior) Expert Biokompatibilität (m/w/d) die Verantwortung für die Bewertung der Biokompatibilität unserer Medizinprodukte gemäß MDR, ISO 10993 und weiteren regulatorischen Vorgaben. In einem interdisziplinären Umfeld tragen Sie aktiv zur sicheren Entwicklung innovativer Therapielösungen bei.
Ihre Aufgaben
- Erstellung von Biokompatibilitätsplänen für Medizinprodukte, inklusive Materialcharakterisierung verschiedener Produktgruppen – mit Fokus auf Produkte für die extrakorporale Herz-Lungenplattform bei Neuentwicklungen oder Material-/Produktänderungen
- Durchführung von Sicherheits- und Risikobewertungen auf Basis der eingesetzten Materialien, Extractables und Leachables sowie Biokompatibilitätsstudien nach ISO 10993-17
- Koordination und Erstellung der Dokumentation zur Bewertung der Biokompatibilität gemäß ISO 10993-1 – in enger Zusammenarbeit mit Toxikologie-Expert:innen
- Verantwortung als Sponsor, Studienmonitor und Ansprechpartner für chemische und biologische Studien in internen sowie externen Laboren
- Sicherstellung der Projektunterstützung und Koordination übergeordneter Strategien innerhalb der Produktentwicklung
- Abstimmung von Probenahme- und Prüfstrategien sowie Unterstützung der Fachbereiche bei deren Umsetzung
- Bewertung und Einordnung analytischer Testergebnisse aus internen und externen Prüflaboren
- Mitwirkung bei Lieferantenvereinbarungen und Spezifikationen hinsichtlich Biokompatibilität und Materialauswahl
- Monitoring regulatorischer Entwicklungen und Sicherstellung der fristgerechten Umsetzung neuer Anforderungen
Ihr Profil
- Abgeschlossenes Masterstudium im naturwissenschaftlichen, ingenieurwissenschaftlichen oder vergleichbaren technischen Bereich (z. B. Medizintechnik)
- Mindestens 2 Jahre relevante Berufserfahrung in einem vergleichbaren Umfeld
- Fundierte Kenntnisse in der Erstellung von Biokompatibilitätsbewertungen und toxikologischen Gutachten
- Erfahrung mit Biokompatibilitätsprüfungen von Medizinprodukten gemäß ISO 10993
- Sicherer Umgang mit Design Control und Risikomanagement; vertraut mit FDA CFR 820, ISO 13485 und ISO 14971
- Praxiserfahrung im Risikomanagement für Medizinprodukte sowie in der Umsetzung regulatorischer Anforderungen
- Kenntnisse in der Entwicklung, im Design oder in der Qualitätsingenieurtechnik steriler Einwegprodukte, idealerweise mit Kunststoffverarbeitungstechniken wie Spritzgießen und Extrusion
- Erfahrung in der Identifikation und Anwendung relevanter Normen und Konformitätsprüfungen
- Fähigkeit, komplexe technische Sachverhalte verständlich und zielgruppengerecht zu kommunizieren
- Vertraut mit agilen Arbeitsmethoden
- Sicherer Umgang mit ALM- und PDM-Systemen
- Erfahrung mit langlebigen und Einweg-Medizinprodukten
- Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
- Bereitschaft zu gelegentlichen Dienstreisen
