As a Clinic Manager at Fresenius Medical Care, you’ll manage the daily operations of our outpatient centers. More importantly, you’ll be the key driver in carrying out our mission: To deliver superior care that improves the quality of life of every patient, every day, setting the standard by which others in the health care industry are judged. This is accomplished by hiring, developing and inspiring a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with physicians, tracking and delivering superior patient outcomes and monitoring regulatory and safety requirements. Strong management skills are required and prior direct patient care experience is needed for occasions when the team needs a helping hand.
Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) at Fresenius Medical Care support and collaborate with RNs to provide dialysis treatment to several patients at a time while maintaining the functionality of the clinic. This involves prepping and testing equipment, reviewing treatment sheets, and opening the clinic at 4am for first shift. PCTs have a combination of technical skills and genuine passion needed to develop deep relationships with patients and improve their quality of life. Qualified candidates have prior customer service, healthcare and direct patient care experience, and will have the opportunity to learn the discipline of dialysis.
Fresenius Medical Care nurses are on the front line of patient care, improving the quality of life of every patient, every day. That means providing dialysis care to 10-12 patients at any given time, and collaborating with our multi-disciplinary team to deliver a unique care plan to each one of them. This role is all about relationships and the bond you’ll create with patients and their families. Prior dialysis nursing experience is helpful, but many successful candidates come from a background in ICU, PCU and/or surgery.
Job Description
In Ihrer Rolle als (Senior) Expert Biokompatibilität (m/w/d) sind Sie verantwortlich für die Bewertung der Biokompatibilität von Medizinprodukten im Rahmen der Verordnung (EU) 2017/745 über Medizinprodukte (MDR), der ISO-10993-Reihe sowie weiterer regulatorischer Richtlinien und Anforderungen.
Ihre Aufgaben
- Erstellung von Plänen zur Biokompatibilitätsbewertung von Medizinprodukten einschließlich Materialcharakterisierung verschiedener Produktgruppen, mit Fokus auf Produkte für die Peritonealdialyse (PD) bei Neuentwicklungen oder Material-/Produktänderungen
- Durchführung von Sicherheits- und Risikobewertungen für Medizinprodukte basierend auf den verwendeten Rohmaterialien, Extractables und Leachables oder Biokompatibilitätsstudien (ISO 10993-17)
- Erstellung der Gesamtbewertung der Biokompatibilität gemäß ISO 10993-1 in Abstimmung mit dem Ersteller der toxikologischen Risikobewertung
- Tätigkeit als Sponsor, Studienmonitor und Ansprechpartner für chemische und biologische Studien in internen und externen Laboren
- Sicherstellung einer ausreichenden Projektunterstützung und Koordination der Anwendung übergeordneter Strategien
- Abstimmung von Probenahme- und Teststrategien sowie Unterstützung der Produktverantwortlichen bei deren Umsetzung
- Unterstützung bei der Bewertung analytischer Ergebnisse aus internen oder externen Prüflaboren
- Koordination der globalen Abstimmung von Laborpartnern (intern und extern) sowie der angewendeten Methoden
- Gesamtverantwortung für die Biokompatibilitätsdokumentation der PD-Produkte
- Mitwirkung an Lieferantenvereinbarungen und Spezifikationen hinsichtlich Biokompatibilitätsanforderungen sowie Materialauswahl
- Monitoring anstehender regulatorischer Änderungen und Sicherstellung der rechtzeitigen Umsetzung unter Berücksichtigung aktueller Methodik
Ihr Profil
- Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Masterstudium im naturwissenschaftlichen, ingenieurwissenschaftlichen oder einem vergleichbaren technischen Bereich, z. B. Medizintechnik
- Mehr als 2 Jahre einschlägige Berufserfahrung
- Erfahrung in der Erstellung von Biokompatibilitätsbewertungen und toxikologischen Gutachten
- Kenntnisse in der Biokompatibilitätsprüfung von Medizinprodukten gemäß ISO 10993
- Anwendung von Design Control und Risikomanagement sowie Kenntnisse der Richtlinien FDA CFR 820, ISO 13485 und ISO 14971
- Kenntnisse im Risikomanagement für Medizinprodukte und den entsprechenden regulatorischen Anforderungen
- Erfahrung in der Produktentwicklung, im Design oder in der Qualitätsingenieurtechnik steriler Einwegprodukte unter Anwendung verschiedener Kunststoffverarbeitungstechniken wie Spritzgießen und Extrusion
- Erfahrung in der Identifikation relevanter Normen zur Konformität und den zugehörigen Prüfungen
- Fähigkeit, technische Informationen an nicht-technische Zielgruppen zu vermitteln
- Vertrautheit mit agiler Methodik
- Versierter Umgang mit ALM- und PDM-Systemen
- Erfahrung mit langlebigen und Einweg-Medizinprodukten
- Fließende Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
- Bereitschaft zu gelegentlichen Dienstreisen
