As a Clinic Manager at Fresenius Medical Care, you’ll manage the daily operations of our outpatient centers. More importantly, you’ll be the key driver in carrying out our mission: To deliver superior care that improves the quality of life of every patient, every day, setting the standard by which others in the health care industry are judged. This is accomplished by hiring, developing and inspiring a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with physicians, tracking and delivering superior patient outcomes and monitoring regulatory and safety requirements. Strong management skills are required and prior direct patient care experience is needed for occasions when the team needs a helping hand.

Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) at Fresenius Medical Care support and collaborate with RNs to provide dialysis treatment to several patients at a time while maintaining the functionality of the clinic. This involves prepping and testing equipment, reviewing treatment sheets, and opening the clinic at 4am for first shift. PCTs have a combination of technical skills and genuine passion needed to develop deep relationships with patients and improve their quality of life. Qualified candidates have prior customer service, healthcare and direct patient care experience, and will have the opportunity to learn the discipline of dialysis.

Fresenius Medical Care nurses are on the front line of patient care, improving the quality of life of every patient, every day. That means providing dialysis care to 10-12 patients at any given time, and collaborating with our multi-disciplinary team to deliver a unique care plan to each one of them. This role is all about relationships and the bond you’ll create with patients and their families. Prior dialysis nursing experience is helpful, but many successful candidates come from a background in ICU, PCU and/or surgery.

Inpatient RNs at Fresenius Medical Care perform dialysis treatments on an acute patient population in a hospital setting, including ICU, ER, Rehab, and Med/Surg units. What makes this role truly unique is the level of autonomy you’ll enjoy. Inpatient nurses are specifically accountable for administering and assessing each patient’s treatment plan. And because dialysis is a critical treatment for many hospital procedures and health conditions, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients. Ideal candidates possess leadership skills and independence needed to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment. Must be capable of educating patients and providing exceptional customer service to our partners. Six months to one year of dialysis experience or some form of critical care nursing experience are also required.

As a member of the management team, he/she will be working with R2R Senior Manager in defining the direction and strategies of the R2R operations. He/she will be responsible for proactive collaboration with all relevant stakeholders to manage risks and issues, drive process performance and process improvements. 

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the management of the R2R services in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the management service agreement (MSA)/ service level agreement (SLA) and in adherence to global targets

  • Engages, collaborates, and creates partnership with the retained organization in respective geographies and other global stakeholders to provide transparency of the results of operations, address issues, and provide value-added services, to exceed expectations on the service delivery of the R2R team

  • Manages the activities related to month-, quarter-, and year-end consolidations, closings and/or financial statements and ensure that reports are in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), accounting standards, and Global Accounting Policies

  • Act as second point of escalation on issues encountered. Handles issue resolution and escalations from the team members and global stakeholders

  • Ensures effective knowledge transfer of activities from the sending side and the SOPs are updated

  • Support the roll-out of IT tools and enablers of the R2R process

  • Ensures that the team is compliant with the company’s policies and procedures, internal control framework, and SOX, if applicable

  • Continuously look for process improvements that would increase efficiency and effectiveness, deliver sustainable KPIs and SLAs results, and improve quality and internal control in coordination with the Process Excellence and Quality team

  • Creates a conducive working environment where competent people are hired, motivated, and committed to the targets of the R2R goals and objectives, and aligned with the vision of the Company

  • Manages the goal setting and performance appraisal of the team and ensures that its members are equipped with proper skills to function effectively and efficiently

  • Drive process standardization, harmonization, and simplification within the team, retained organization, and different regions, thereby reducing costs through economies of scale, and increasing quality through repeatability

  • Prepare, recommend, and monitor operating and personnel budgets of the team

  • Provide leadership, coaching and development plans for all direct reports to maintain an engaged and productive workforce; partnering with Human Resources on employee matters.

  • Liaise with external auditors to plan and manage the audit requirements

Requirements:

  • Graduate of Bachelor’s of Science in Commerce/Finance/Accountancy or equivalent

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred

  • 8-10 years of working experience in finance and accounting, and at least five (5) years of which is solid end-to-end experience working in R2R in a shared services center of a multi-national company

  • At least three (3) years in a managerial role focused on the R2R function 

  • Understanding of audit concepts, internal control framework, and compliance

  • Proficient with SAP or any ERP system and other reporting systems

  • Experience in Shared Services Center/BPO

  • Experience in process migration, is a plus.

  • Proficient in using MS Office products

  • Fluency in the English language

  • Can work within flexible working hours/shifts including night shift.
