As a Clinic Manager at Fresenius Medical Care, you’ll manage the daily operations of our outpatient centers. More importantly, you’ll be the key driver in carrying out our mission: To deliver superior care that improves the quality of life of every patient, every day, setting the standard by which others in the health care industry are judged. This is accomplished by hiring, developing and inspiring a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with physicians, tracking and delivering superior patient outcomes and monitoring regulatory and safety requirements. Strong management skills are required and prior direct patient care experience is needed for occasions when the team needs a helping hand.

Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) at Fresenius Medical Care support and collaborate with RNs to provide dialysis treatment to several patients at a time while maintaining the functionality of the clinic. This involves prepping and testing equipment, reviewing treatment sheets, and opening the clinic at 4am for first shift. PCTs have a combination of technical skills and genuine passion needed to develop deep relationships with patients and improve their quality of life. Qualified candidates have prior customer service, healthcare and direct patient care experience, and will have the opportunity to learn the discipline of dialysis.

Fresenius Medical Care nurses are on the front line of patient care, improving the quality of life of every patient, every day. That means providing dialysis care to 10-12 patients at any given time, and collaborating with our multi-disciplinary team to deliver a unique care plan to each one of them. This role is all about relationships and the bond you’ll create with patients and their families. Prior dialysis nursing experience is helpful, but many successful candidates come from a background in ICU, PCU and/or surgery.

Inpatient RNs at Fresenius Medical Care perform dialysis treatments on an acute patient population in a hospital setting, including ICU, ER, Rehab, and Med/Surg units. What makes this role truly unique is the level of autonomy you’ll enjoy. Inpatient nurses are specifically accountable for administering and assessing each patient’s treatment plan. And because dialysis is a critical treatment for many hospital procedures and health conditions, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients. Ideal candidates possess leadership skills and independence needed to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment. Must be capable of educating patients and providing exceptional customer service to our partners. Six months to one year of dialysis experience or some form of critical care nursing experience are also required.

Job Description

PD Production Equipment Maintenance III

 

Responsibilities:

  • Supervision of PD Production Equipment Maintenance personnel.
  • To meet and enforce policies, standards, procedures, and regulations of the company.
  • To develop projects focusing on continuous improvement, cost reduction, and quality improvements.
  • To manage projects, on time and form, committed to official documents.
  • To identify opportunity areas for automation processes.
  • To develop PLCs and HMIs programs as necessary according with department’s requirements, using PLCs brands in the company, and keep programs’ review traceability.
  • To keep control of PLCs programs database (updated and with revision traceability).
  • To perform HMI upgrade (updated and with revision traceability).
  • To measure, monitor, and improve the OEE and OSE metrics of automated equipment used in PD area.
  • To develop automated equipment in accordance with production demand following quality criteria, using URS as guidance for equipment development.
  • To develop prototypes by researching new technologies, materials, designing and being responsible for the development, test, and inspection criteria.
  • To coordinate equipment development with external suppliers, to provide necessary information for projects follow up: drawings of components related to the project, material handling and shipping, equipment assessment, equipment transportation and installation.
  • During equipment development, they shall consider whether it is necessary or required to use a network communication system to optimize machine’s wiring.
  • During URS development they must be able to identify minimal required devices (PLC, Expansion modules, networks, HMI, etc.) for machine’s construction according with its complexity.
  • To develop and upgrade vision system (Cognex, Omron, and Keyence) programs and keep traceability of programs revision.
  • To design fixtures or mechanical parts for assembly processes or assembly equipment using Solid Works program or AutoCAD.
  • To manage computer aided design programs, to maintain and update equipment drawings, pieces, and devices.
  • To perform root cause investigations to solve quality problems where automated equipment is involved.
  • Responsible for supporting the investigation of customer complaints, NCs and CAPAs related with the machines’ quality or performance, focusing on root cause solutions.
  • Shall participate in validation process of new assembly equipment or validation of machines’ upgrades.
  • Responsible for maintaining validated state of automated equipment.
  • To develop engineering studies related with quality, capability, and performance of automated equipment.
  • To document each project development, gather, and keep all information generated since the beginning of project.
  • To write, review, and perform the operation and maintenance procedures of equipment and machinery related with product assembly.
  • To perform preventive or corrective maintenance of automated equipment.
  • To keep spare parts list updated.
  • To calculate maximum and minimum for spare parts.
  • To provide training for all personal involved in operation and maintenance of automated equipment.
  • To support and train technical personnel that performs maintenance of assembly equipment.
  • To ensure all corrective and preventive maintenance records are documented immediately when activity takes place.

 

Qualifications:

  • Engineering bachelor’s degree (Graduated in Mechanics, electronics or automation).
  • Bilingual English / Spanish.
  • Medical products manufacturing.
  • Projects management.
  • Knowledge of electricity.
  • Knowledge of electronics (motor drivers’ control, Servo motors, Robot Cylinders, robots’ Communication network -Device net, Profibus DP, Control Net-).
  • Knowledge of vision system programing (Cognex, Keyence, and Omron).
  • Knowledge of Pneumatics (e.g. Fluid Sim, Intelligent Network Control Valve).
  • Knowledge of measurement equipment (e.g. Multimeter, Chatillon, Instron).
  • Knowledge of tools and machinery (Machine Shop).
  • Computer knowledge (e.g. Microsoft Office programs: Project C, Visio).
  • Knowledge of statistics and Minitab software.
  • High level knowledge in equipment controlled by PLC (e.g. counters, timers, Flip Flop, math comparator, logics operations, data acquisition) following a structured schedule and defining safety as priority.
  • Mechanical design (Solid Works and AutoCAD).
