Job Description

Incorporation of specific local and regional experience within Sales and Pre-Sales activities

Detailed Sales process knowledge including relevant IT-skills related to SAP.

Support of existing team members related to Maintenance and roll back activities, as well as upcoming deployments

Ensure support to business in relation to maintenance and improvement activities with regards to Sales and Sales related processes and data structures.

Support of existing team members with regard to CRM activities

Your Tasks:

  • Analysis, enhancement, improvement of SAP Template for the Sales domain in alignment with other functional domains and with regard to End-TO-END view.

  • Preparation and conduction of presentations and workshops for the discussion of business processes with local Business Process Experts and /or Owners

  • Prepare and maintain training materials

  • Prepare and execute training sessions for End Users

  • Consult and support local key user with regard to the usage of system processes

  • Co-ordination of the on-going demand processes within the live countries. Communicate changes / improvements to user community on an on-going basis

  • Manage and undertake required subproject tasks with regard to project management considering time / quality and costs.

  • Preparation, implementation and follow up of workshops sessions with local experts with regard to template improvements,  process developments and/or concepts

  • Prepare / support / conduct and analysis of test execution

  • Prepare / support Data Migration activities

  • Prepare / support analyses After-Go-life period

  • Prepare / support / conduct on-going maintenance activities

  • Support training initiatives to end users on Sales related topics

  • Pre-actively support and understand integration topics to other domains, in particular with LE / MM / FI /CO and WM/EWM

  • Achieve the project objectives and compliance within scheduled milestones, taking into account the resources (personnel costs), schedule and quality of results

  • Risk and problems are addressed timely and corrective measures initiated

  • Project reporting is complete and up-to date

  • Feedback from customers, and BPM team members

Your Background:

  • University degree in informatics / economics / business informatics or comprehensive business experience in Sales

  • At least 2 years’ experience in ERP projects (either as internal or external consultant)

  • At least 4 years of professional experience in operational Sales and/or  Customer Service Management

  • At least 5 years working experience in the area of ERP and good practical work experience in the usage of SAP  sales and Distribution module. Very good process and system knowledge in the area of Sales.

  • Ideally also good working knowledge of SAP CRM

  • Experience in project work

  • Experience of SAP implantations in Asia / international  is an advantage

  • Ability to translate business requirements into systems requirements and vice versa

  • Excellent communication skills, social skills and open-minded.

  • Highly developed and proven organizational skills as well as analytical skills

  • Highly motivated and able to work under pressure

  • Pro-active and solution oriented

  • Continuous optimization and improvement approach

  • High engagement on achieving targets and objectives

  • Works well alone, as well as within a team

  • Open for other cultures

  • Good skills in Issue resolution and tracking

  • Willingness to travel

  • Sound knowledge of moderation and presentation techniques

  • Sound knowledge of project management techniques and project management skills

  • Willingness to continuously improve / enhance own skills and knowledge

  • Understanding of cross domain and cross functional processes (End-to-End), especially processes with involvement of Sales

  • Understanding and sound knowledge of SAP Sales transactions in general

  • SAP Sales & Distribution and interfaces to other modules (CO, LE, FI, MM, and BI)

  • Microsoft Office

  • ARIS Toolset

  • Fluent in English and German (written and spoken)

  • More languages beneficial
