As a Clinic Manager at Fresenius Medical Care, you’ll manage the daily operations of our outpatient centers. More importantly, you’ll be the key driver in carrying out our mission: To deliver superior care that improves the quality of life of every patient, every day, setting the standard by which others in the health care industry are judged. This is accomplished by hiring, developing and inspiring a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with physicians, tracking and delivering superior patient outcomes and monitoring regulatory and safety requirements. Strong management skills are required and prior direct patient care experience is needed for occasions when the team needs a helping hand.

Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) at Fresenius Medical Care support and collaborate with RNs to provide dialysis treatment to several patients at a time while maintaining the functionality of the clinic. This involves prepping and testing equipment, reviewing treatment sheets, and opening the clinic at 4am for first shift. PCTs have a combination of technical skills and genuine passion needed to develop deep relationships with patients and improve their quality of life. Qualified candidates have prior customer service, healthcare and direct patient care experience, and will have the opportunity to learn the discipline of dialysis.

Fresenius Medical Care nurses are on the front line of patient care, improving the quality of life of every patient, every day. That means providing dialysis care to 10-12 patients at any given time, and collaborating with our multi-disciplinary team to deliver a unique care plan to each one of them. This role is all about relationships and the bond you’ll create with patients and their families. Prior dialysis nursing experience is helpful, but many successful candidates come from a background in ICU, PCU and/or surgery.

Inpatient RNs at Fresenius Medical Care perform dialysis treatments on an acute patient population in a hospital setting, including ICU, ER, Rehab, and Med/Surg units. What makes this role truly unique is the level of autonomy you’ll enjoy. Inpatient nurses are specifically accountable for administering and assessing each patient’s treatment plan. And because dialysis is a critical treatment for many hospital procedures and health conditions, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients. Ideal candidates possess leadership skills and independence needed to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment. Must be capable of educating patients and providing exceptional customer service to our partners. Six months to one year of dialysis experience or some form of critical care nursing experience are also required.

Shape the Connectivity and Integration Backbone of the Future in Renal Care

We are transforming from a device-centric organization into an integrated digital health ecosystem combining medical devices, software, AI-enabled insights, data-driven services, and connected care solutions.

To accelerate this transformation, we are seeking a Global Product Manager Digital Products – Connectivity & Ecosystem Interoperability (m/f/d) to drive the next generation of interoperability, connectivity, and healthcare integration capabilities across our future global digital ecosystem.

In this role, you will own the product strategy, roadmap, and commercialization of key digital connectivity and integration products that enable seamless data exchange, workflow integration, and ecosystem interoperability across clinics, devices, software platforms, and healthcare systems.

You will work at the intersection of digital health, interoperability, connected devices, edge computing, and healthcare IT infrastructure — helping shape the future foundation of connected renal care.

Your tasks

Product Strategy & Ecosystem Enablement

  • Define product vision, strategy, value proposition, roadmap, and business models for connectivity and interoperability products
  • Ensure alignment between dedicated products, overall portfolio and business unit strategy
  • Drive next generation products of scalable connectivity and interoperability solutions enabling connected care workflows and ecosystem growth, including:
    • Edge device capabilities and related on-prem / cloud SaaS deployment strategy
    • EHR / HIS integration solutions
    • HL7 / FHIR based interoperability solutions
    • Next generation peripheral integration solutions

Product Definition, Commercialization & Go-to-Market

  • Define customer and market requirements, conduct market assessments for dedicated products incl. market segmentation, market quantification, product-market fit
  • Prioritize product capabilities, features, releases, and roadmap increments together with development teams and stakeholders
  • Monitor healthcare interoperability, connectivity, and digital platform trends as well as competitor landscape
  • Develop commercialization strategies for dedicated products, collaborate closely with regional marketing, sales, and product management teams to define and execute go-to-market approaches in target markets
  • Support customer engagements, strategic pitches, and market adoption activities for connectivity and interoperability solutions
  • Identify new business opportunities, product ideas and contribute to future ecosystem monetization and platform strategies

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate closely with development, architecture, quality, regulatory, commercial teams, and external partners to drive for outcomes
  • Lead cross-functional global products teams and initiatives, be able to cope with ambiguity
  • Foster collaboration across cultures, regions, and organizational boundaries
  • Act as a leader and share vision and business perspective with others in the organization

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, computer science, digital health, business administration, or a related field
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in Product Management, Digital Health, Healthcare IT, Connectivity, Software, MedTech, or related industries
  • Strong experience in digital product management and product lifecycle ownership
  • Relevant expertise in at least one or more of the following areas: interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR), EHR/HIS systems, edge computing, clinic processes, AI-enabled healthcare solutions, connected devices / IoT ecosystems
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional global initiatives within matrix organizations delivering tangible outcomes
  • Strong collaboration experience across R&D, commercial, quality, regulatory, and customer-facing organizations
  • Strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution capabilities
  • Strong communication, moderation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Global mindset and willingness for occasional international travel
  • Fluent English required; German language skills are a plus
