At our Reynosa plant in Mexico, we are committed to the highest standards in the production of disposable medical products for dialysis treatments. With a dedicated team of more than 3,000 employees across four manufacturing sites, the plant focuses on manufacturing essential components such as hemodialysis disposables, peritoneal dialysis (PD) disposables, hemodialysis (HD) machines, and PD cycler machines.

The Cost Accountant is responsible for supervising, coordinating, planning, and analyzing manufacturing costs and financial information to support business decisions, product costing, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance requirements. This role ensures accurate cost accounting processes, financial reporting, inventory reconciliation, internal controls, and adherence to corporate policies, SOX requirements, and audit standards.

   

Your Responsibilities

• Analyze and supervise manufacturing costs, preparing reports comparing standard costs versus actual costs.
• Support new product introductions by developing cost estimates and providing product costing information to Product Development (R&D).
• Prepare and present management reports related to product costs, profitability, absorption, volume, revenue, and key business indicators.
• Coordinate month-end closing activities, including VOP, cost per unit, absorption, MUV, PPV calculations, General Ledger journal entries, Flash reporting, and SAP report validation.
• Analyze the impact of changes in product design, raw materials, and manufacturing processes on product costs.
• Maintain inventory account reconciliations and support General Ledger accuracy.
• Participate in Annual Standard Cost, Budget, and Forecast preparation processes.
• Support CAPEX projects, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
• Participate in SOX, Internal Control, iPACE, GIA, PwC, and corporate compliance activities, including audits, reconciliations, and quarterly certifications.
• Review operating expenses, investigate budget and forecast variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Support monthly U.S. and Mexican accounting close processes, treasury reporting, cash flow reporting, payroll, taxes, and vendor payments.
• Monitor MUV, PPV, MRB adjustments, cyclical counts, quality waste trends, and supplier recovery activities.
• Prepare Plant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other corporate financial reports.

Your Profile

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly plant environment.
• Strong knowledge of Cost Accounting, Budgeting, Forecasting, Inventory Accounting, and Financial Analysis.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong numerical, analytical, communication, leadership, decision-making, and teamwork skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Valid U.S. Visa required.
